When i was 6 back in 1996, my grandpa used to bring me to a durian store in kepong for 2-3 musang king durian.
However, all these stopped as I grew older the durian shop is no longer around and grandpa passed away.
Whenever i get cravings, i tried to get from other durian shops but always felt cheated/conned.
That all changed after i tried Sinnaco Durian Specialist. I have been coming here whenever i have a cravings since 2015.
Obviously, they’re a pay per durian model and if the quality is bad you can always ask for a change of durian on the spot.
Whenever i got home, i never had a sore throat having their durian as compared to other stores which i suspect there’s a lot of pesticide used for the durian i get on other stores.
I have recommended many friends & family, and they’re always satisfied with the quality of durians served. If there’s a craving i will always be back here for more as i never have to be worried about being conned / cheated.
I don’t mind paying slight premium than worry of getting cheated with bad service and quality at...
Read moreTried to pass off small, lower-grade Musang King as Grade A and charged full price. Staff brushed it off, boss refused to help. Ended up canceling my durian instead of replacing it. Dishonest and irresponsible.
I bought several durians, including Musang King. The first one was a nice round Grade A. For the second one, they quietly gave me a small, irregular-shaped durian but still weighed and priced it as Grade A. When I questioned the staff, he said, “I don’t know, this is nature, all durians are like this.” I politely asked if they could give me the same round shape as the first one, and he replied, “Do you want this second durian or not?”
When I repeated my question, he told me to “ask the boss.” The lady boss simply said, “I don’t know, we have only one grade,” and made no effort to check or resolve the matter. In the end, the worker just canceled my second Musang King without offering a proper replacement. Very disappointing and...
Read moreWe paid RM88 per pax for their branded durian package, but deeply regretted to patronising them. All 5 types of durian incl. halor, udang merah, susu king, etc all is very tasteless. its seems like very diluted when it sit on your tongue. Looks wise is good, no worm, no breakage on the durian skin as we do wonder if water does seep in. In total we have 6 different whole fruit but none taste like the durian we know of. Imagine this, my stomach only 50% full and I am durian lover and a kiasu typo, but I could not bring myself to have another piece due to the tastelessness. Complained to 2 different staffs but no action, one of them even cheekily told us next month shall be better. I wanted to shout back " then next month only open business laaaaa", but my friends jokes colled me down! Dun call yourself premium when you do not even...
