SOPs are great in that only a certain number of people are allowed in at any one time. There's a pass system where you scan the QR code, show you are fully vaccinated, then pay RM1 for a pass (you get back the RM1 when you return the pass upon leaving). This means no crowds inside the market which is great!
Favourite food is the chee Cheong fun (rolled or flat rice noodles) from a stall that only sells this one dish. My favourite combination is sweet sauce with curry and green chilli's topped with assorted Yong Liew (fish balls etc) but the one must have is the soft Foo chuk.
The fried carrot cake, char koay teow and fried bananas are really good. There's an assortment of kuih from numerous stalls. There's roast chicken, duck and pork from a few stalls (one of the roast pork stalls has a perpetual queue) and even nasi lemak. During crowded weekends or public hollidays people have to push and squeeze through these stretch with very close bodily contacts with others. There should be some enforcements and checks to remind traders to display their goods or wares properly and not to...
