The Curve — Attraction in Petaling Jaya

This is a pleasant, family friendly mall. Especially for family with young kids. The mall has a variety of shops to offer. Writing this review and rating it 1 star because of an incident I experienced today, at around 11am at the Ladies parking at The Curve. I'm a regular patron to The Curve. Oftentimes, I choose to park at the ladies parking because it is convenient with a young baby. In my humble opinion, the security personnel attending the ladies parking section is not the most friendliest. They often look unhappy and grumpy, guarding the booth at the entrance to the ladies parking. Today, I made a mistake by turning into the ladies parking through an empty parking spot right in front of the ladies parking entrance, following the left turn arrow on the floor (next to pillar K4). I admitted my mistake and apologized to the guard. He glared at me, refused to let me in. I wind down my window and explained to him, I overlooked the correct turning, and made the turn, which was not hazardous at all, and apologized again. Instead of being reasonable and understanding, he stepped outside the booth and yelled at me "Apa tak nampak!!!". Instead of making a scene, considering I have a young child in my car, I decided to drive off and park elsewhere. I then, lodged a complaint at with concierge. I felt bullied and mistreated unnecessarily. Instead of doing their job as a security guard, guarding the safety of the patrons who park at the privileged section, they made me feel unsafe, punished and threatened for an honest mistake. Very disrespectful and rude. Will never recommend friends or anyone to use the ladies parking at The Curve purely because of these security personnel who are so rude.Hope the management will look into this matter. Although, I doubt they will even entertain my complaint...

The Curve is accessible via 5 ways namely the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP), Sprint Highway (Pe Chala Link), Damansara perdana and Persiaran Surian.Small all purpose mall... They got Tesco for cheap groceries shopping, a lot small and big restaurant, Fitness First, boutique shop and pet shop.This is a pleasant mall to visit. It has a good selection of restaurants along the courtyard. You can find a few famous international chain restaurants such as TGI Friday, Tony Roma's, and Red Lobster. We found an Indian restaurant called Macha & Co that has excellent food and service. Must try guys 😉.This place use to be the place to hangout but with recent opening of a lot of malls in kalng valley, this place has seen less people coming.

There is still good variety of shop selections but the vibe there is not as it was years before.
