To whom it may concern. Im giving a feedback for The Curve branch and the team. I came today for the lovely mussels pot that you guys have been serving for long time. I always come there for the mussels. Today, I was very disappointed with the service especially the staff. I have been coming there for many times and this time I ordered the same menu; the mussels pot and the bread that served as per photo. (Pls refer attached). Simple question: If you are the customer and you been served that kind of bread, what will you feel? What on the waiter’s mind when serving the bread? Are you blind? You didn’t check before serving to customer? Will you present a bread like that to customers? On top of that, my intention was to give a feedback to the staff but they were denying and saying the bread WAS CUT LIKE THAT. What on earth you have a zigzag knife to cut bread like that? Previous this all the bread served was full and nicely sliced. Obviously it looks like the bread HAS BEEN TOUCHED. Shame on you Italiannies (The Curve) branch staff. There were NO APOLOGIZE at all from the staff. They very defensive especially the guy waiter. I was just giving my feedback as customer. Thats all. Back then the service from Italiannies was great. I wonder where were those great staffs went? I close my eyes about: 1. the staff serving the meal almost 1 hour later after ordering 2. There were no table to seat as all the plates from previous customers has not been cleared. 3. The bread with the olive oil only served AFTER customer has been eating the menu they ordered half way. 3. No apologise at all from the staff because all of these issue. BUT, regarding the unpleasant bread that been served to me was disappointing. I need an explanation.

I recently dined at Italiannes The Curve and had a mixed but overall enjoyable experience. The restaurant has a lovely ambience, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a casual meal. The service was also good—staff were attentive and friendly, which added to the pleasant dining experience. For starters, I ordered the **Caesar Salad**, and it was absolutely delicious! The greens were fresh, the dressing was well-balanced, and the croutons added a nice crunch. It was a great way to kick off the meal. Next, I tried the **Pepperoni Classico Pizza**, which was equally satisfying. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, the pepperoni was flavorful, and the cheese was gooey and delicious. It’s definitely a must-try if you’re a pizza lover. However, the **Italian Bacon and Mushroom Carbonara** was a bit of a letdown. While the pasta itself was cooked well and the portion size was generous, the dish was overly salty, which overpowered the other flavors. It felt like the bacon and seasoning were a bit heavy-handed, and it took away from what could have been a great dish. In terms of pricing, I found it to be reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. It’s not the cheapest Italian restaurant, but it’s worth it for the overall experience. To sum it up, Italiannes The Curve is a solid choice for Italian cuisine. The Caesar Salad and Pepperoni Classico Pizza were highlights, but the Carbonara could use some improvement. With its nice ambience and good service, I’d still recommend it and would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!

Used to be one of our favorite spots for Italian food, but sadly, Italiannies at The Curve has gone downhill. We came to celebrate our daughter's birthday with high hopes and left completely disappointed. First, service was terrible. Clearly understaffed and poorly trained. We ordered a pizza which never arrived until almost 45 minutes later, and only after we asked about it. That’s when they casually mentioned their pizza machine had broken down. No apology, no update earlier, no chance to change the order. Meanwhile, we saw a pizza being served at the next table just minutes before. So what’s the truth? On top of that, we chose this place because of their birthday promo. The signage showed tiramisu, which our daughter was excited for. But when we asked, they said they only serve brownies for the birthday dessert and had no tiramisu. Moments later, we saw another table getting tiramisu with a candle. We asked again, and were told that table paid for it. Misleading and disappointing. We ordered 5 main meals, 2 sides and a few drinks. For a group spending a decent amount, the service and experience were shockingly poor. Zero effort to make it special or even just decent. Will not return. If you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion, go somewhere that actually values its customers.

I have been here 5 times now. Here are the positives based on my experience. The interior design is beautiful, the a/c is blasting cold (which I like), the seats and tables are comfortable, and the pizzas are the best pizzas that I have ever had.

Now, here are the negatives. 4 out of 5 times that I've been here, the service is always extremely bad and I'm not even exaggerating it, it's that bad. They are always short of staff. For some reason, the staffs are always 'busy' even when there are only 5 customers. The staffs are always in the kitchen or somewhere and are rarely outside, which makes it difficult for us to get them to take our orders or to ask about our orders. One time, it took me about 10 minutes to finally get a staff to come to our table and take our orders. The last time I went there was 2 weeks ago, and we had to cancel our dessert because it was taking too long. Not only that, but we couldn't even find a staff to ask on our dessert. So, we just gave up and cancelled it.

Besides the bad service, the menu was confusing as well. 2 weeks ago, I wanted to get the duck confit, but the waiter said it's not available because it's 'only for Christmas'. Why the hell would you put it on the main menu if it's a seasonal dish? It doesn't even say that it's a 'seasonal dish' anywhere on the menu. Like wtf? Not only that, but I also wanted the apple crumble dessert, but the waiter said it's 'only for Christmas' too. Same thing as the duck confit, nowhere on the menu where it says anything about 'Christmas only'. So, I ordered the brownie, which never came. Either they are out of stock or the waiter just didn't know shit, because there's no such thing as 'this dish is only available on Christmas' on the menu. Even if they were seasonal dishes, why tf would you add them on the main menu and making customers confused?

I don't want this place to be closed down because I truly love this place and I always come here with my family. The pizzas here are the best pizzas that you will ever have, trust me, bro. But I hope that they solve these issues regarding the short of staff and the confusing menu. I will probably be coming back here with my family during Christmas because the place will...

YOU SHOULD READ THIS. This restaurant is not manage by the original team anymore. It totally passed to a Malay team and most of them dont understand English. They will only reply you in Malay. No usher available in this restaurant, all customers queuing outside and they just walk through the entrance meanwhile looking at the floor to ignore everyone outside.

Be aware that THEY WILL NOT TAKE YOUR BOOKING SERIOUSLY!! I booked 2 weeks in advance for Valentines dinner, but when I arrived(on time) they told me that no empty table for me at the moment, what does it mean? Obviously did not reserve a table for me. Then simply arrange a “couple table” that still dirty and leave us hang there without returning to us!

Very hard to call them as they were flying here and there not sure what they busying as I see all couples table were still empty lol.

They have no idea for the red or white wine options as they claim that they are Malays but you work here u should know right?

Food was served extremely slow for all couple tables, around 30mins per dish in average.

No cutlery provided when food arrive, request for 2 times then only get oily fork and plates with stain somemore. Is this mamak standard? Half of the Lamb shoulder is not chewable and their knife is not sharp at all, just like a dessert knife , need to eat like tearing a rubber 😂 end up half dish unable to eat.

Request to help take photo for us for few times, just ask me to wait awhile and never get back to me, until other customer also cannot tahan and offer to help us to take photo.

Request to take away the desserts which is their Tiramisu cake, when I open and check after arriving home only realize they put in a very small tupperware and press the cake until it out of shape. The cream on top squeezed until it cover half of the plastic box. what a shame to all the Italliannies staffs!! For this price range almost RM200 get this kind of sucks service? TAK MALU KE ?! Spoiled our...

I hope the manager / owner reads this. You are understaffed and that has led to a forgettable experience for us at Italianniese, or rather, a memorable one but for the wrong reasons.

Let me summarise what you can do to improve your business.

We tried to get your serving team’s attention and had to stand to get someone’s attention. You should strategise a little. The way I see it, I can divide your restaurant into 3 sections. You should station 2 members to attend to customers ad hoc requests such as asking for sauce, utensils, etc.

Some of our meals took a long time i.e. about an hour to arrive. We understand that your restaurant was understaffed, but the team should have communicated with us upfront rather than make us wait. We would have appreciated it if somebody had come and told us that we’d have to wait an hour and give us the option of changing our order. Not sure if this is due to lack of training or if you have not strategised this with your staff but it is something to work on towards improving your ratings.

I implore you to get some of your family members to go undercover and try the pasta especially. Some of them were not good, really. I don’t know what changed because your food used to be so good. But you need to spend some time researching your recipes and seeing whats wrong with them.

You are understaffed. Invest a little, pay your staff well so you’re able to retain them and they in turn will work hard for you. Also, offer pay that is attractive so you’ll be able to attract talents to the team. Things won’t improve unless you make some significant improvements on your end first. These improvements can only happen if you invest in your restaurant.

Read this comment, and the others. Take pointers and invest in your restaurant.

Thank you. Hoping to...
