Pulau Warisan River Cruise — Attraction in Terengganu

Heritage island is a man made island under the project of Kuala Terengganu Port Town Area Action plan. Currently, it’s a wide empty space for ?cultural activity or night market hawking. The one way traffic setting prone to serious congestions during weekend or night market. Waste management is an issue, and after major events the rubbish may pile up despite cleaning effort and hence constitutes hygiene concern.

Invariably, the construction of the island obliterated the historical appearance of Kampung Cina Waterfront that previously held maritime commercial activities. I shared a few photos in the book of Tan & Ngah. If I would imagine, previously the waterfront setting would be similar to Penang Clan Jetty or Perak Port Weld, admixing residential and...

Don't get confused. During morning till noon this is a location for parking spot nearby turtle alley and pasar payang. (5-8 minutes walking distance) Or..this could be hang out place for photos.

At night..this is location for Pasar Malam Pulau Warisan took place. (Pulau Warisan Night Market). A lot of food varieties here. But for city travellers..the food is common viral food that is easy to find in city. Mozarella cheese stick, ayam gunting, krabu megi, kerang bakar (nice!), kunafa, a variety of drinks, keropok lekor, nasi lemak to nasi dagang (ok la) and masakan panas also available here.

It's common place for Ganu people to buy their food. For travellers, hmm..I suggest we try somewhere else for more authentic traditional...

As a Terengganu local people, this place will be one ☝️ of the recommended destinations for tourists or visitors. On a day time, there is a river cruise🚢 service at the jetty here. People especially tourists must try it. It will cruise along the river of Terengganu. From the cruising they can discover the beautiful of activities happening around the land such as Pasar Kedai Payang, Masjid Kristal, Pulau Duyong Marina etc. It’s definitely worth. Come and enjoy the sunset view 🌅 here at the late evening. While at night It’s also “alive” here especially during Public Holiday. So many events happening here. Local people selling their products from stalls or food trucks. On top of that, family also can come here as so many things...
