KT Chinatown Lodge — Hotel in Terengganu

The property is in the heart of China Town and is at walkable distance from all the shops and food outlets. We booked this property as we wanted a budget option for a night's stay and did not actually have a lot of expectations. But it exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness and the behaviour of their management. The room was sparkling clean and well arranged. Bath and toilets were super clean and towels and necessary toiletries were provided. Though the room did not have electric kettle, they had kettle and coffee at common places. The property is managed by a family and each one of them were very friendly and helpful. The best part of the place is that it is very close to the riverside and the artistic lanes of Kuala Terengganu. We loved our stay and would surely come back. Clean, bright and spacious room (with window) and ensuite bright and clean bathroom with fresh linens and towel (better than 4 stars hotel). Friendly and polite owner (family run) who are nice to chat with without any burden. Even has full length mirror and bottle water provided. other amenities you can ask from the staff like hair dryer. toilet come with fresh shower gel, but need to bring your own shampoo and other toiletries (but hey this is a lodge, not a hotel right) Hot water and water dispenser with Nescafe sachet is provided at the common area. What started as just an inquiry was so impressive that I had to book. The innKeeper ||Lorenz was amazing, handling inquiries and flexible in accomodating his hotel guests. Definitely a rarity with hotels nowadays.||||Rooms are very clean, linens were fresh and spotless, putting some other 4-5 star hotels to shame.
