Uncle Chua Signature (Pulau Warisan) — Restaurant in Terengganu

Disappointed by the bad service. This is not just about a mistake, but how it was poorly handled.

I visited this restaurant yesterday with a group of friends. Out of nowhere, a waiter brought three drinks to our table that we never ordered. I politely asked if it was a mistake, but the waiter insisted (in a very sarcastic and dismissive tone) that we did order them even though the handwriting on the chit clearly didn’t match any of ours. I asked if he could double-check with other tables, but he brushed me off rudely.

What made it worse was that no one from the staff took responsibility even after another customer at a nearby table complained about their missing drinks, which turned out to be the exact ones we were wrongly served. This confirmed we had been blamed for someone else’s order but still, no apology was offered. No manager came. No staff owned up. It wasn’t just poor service but it was a total lack of accountability and respect.

I’m not writing this for compensation. I just hope this feedback reaches management so no other customer has to feel as disrespected and...

I got the vegetarian fried oyster mushroom (8.90rm) with a side of rice (2rm) and carrot juice (5.80rm). Good portion, yummy food, fast customer service. Extensive menu with lots to choose from and vegetarian options. Clean environment. Knock down one star because my dish was a little dry and would be nice if they had condiments such as hot sauce available on the tables. But very good for cheap price and I would come back. Update: also tried the chili pan mee. Was disappointing compared to chili pan mees I’ve had at other restaurants. I wish they had a vegetarian option with mushrooms maybe because the meat (pork or chicken?) was too dry and didn’t go well with the dish. Dried fish could be crunchier. Also didn’t have any vegetables such as spring onion or a simple green. Was served with a regular spoon when a soup spoon would have been much more functional. 1st impression, warm inside. Floor at our table was dirty. TV was loud. But i didn't bother to tell them the above as I normally let it be natural. And one of the order was wrong.
