Went to have lunch today...Very bad experience...The used plates with leftovers of customers were still left on the table and we were having the food around those dirty plates around. Usually there is always a guy who comes to clean every time a customer leaves the restaurant but today was pathetic.. There was no achar served on the thalis today, even the sweet was expired and was giving off a bad smell. I left the sweet and was very disappointed with the service...Why charging us so high when there are items missing on the thali and u serving us sweets which have been kept for so long... I come here every week to eat the thalis and buy sweets before leaving to take back home, but today because of this incident i preferred to try Bombay sweet Mart which surprisingly serves us much cheaper sweets than at Namo India. I took 4 different barfis there (at Bombay Sweet Mart) and it costed me Rs50 in total. I was greatly surprised and told them the same thing I buy at your restaurant and it bills out to Rs 250. I don't understand why the food are so overpriced when clearly the spaces are so small and restricted and in India you can get the same food at INR 50. Will go there less frequently...
Read moreVery poor customer service.. all the foods and sweets are very expensive .. the person serving the food, an Indian, is not customer friendly at all.. he seems to be always in an angry mood n lacks good customer care.. this week I went to buy a barfi whose price was Rs 25, I gave that guy Rs 100, but he told he has no exchange in a very rude way, so I decided to take 2 barfi that is totalling Rs 50 n I expected him to at least give the 2 barfi n return me Rs 50, but he again told he has no exchange again in a very rude. Finally I told him I won't order anything n he returned me my Rs 100.. a very bad experience for me. Our Mauritian people are much cultured than these Indians, I use to buy veg foods at hare krishna at Rue Bourbon port louis, at NPF building or at Fon Singh building n all those people working there are very nice, they always greet their customers with a smile n serve...
Read moreNamo India is a Vegeterian Indian Restaurant, you might be surprised at first thinking you'll get chicken or meat but No no no, veg veg veg!🤗
The food taste very declicious at a very affordable price, for an express resto it's awesome!😁
The Thalis menu changes everyday and tried two of them and loved it!😍
My personal favorites are: Paneer Tikka Roll with extra chilli, Veg Chow Noodles (tried the paneer one, didn't like it!🤧), Massala Dosa, Veg Munchurian (with & without gravy), Thalis are nice just didn't like the Aloo Baigan something!
It's a small dine in place, you might have to wait to be seated specially during peak lunch time!
Love both the ladies in the front, The Indian & Mauritian one, They are always helpful and smiling even during peak time! Plus plus point for this!💯
I surely reccommend Namo India Port Louis for both Dine in &...
