Rozi Darbarr Restaurant — Restaurant in Isle Mauritius

We recently came to this restaurant for dinner and I have to concede that the service is still impeccable. The atmosphere is very cosy... one can immediately unwind and relax.

The staff is very courteous and helpful. They gladly proposed different food that we could try and even took out the time to give more details about each dish. In fact, I wanted to try a specific type of preparation and, although it was not available, they suggested an equivalent one.

The food itself was so yummilicious! We were completely bowled over. Absolutely succulent!

What can I say about their Chicken Malai Kebab?! I have tried this dish at several Indian restaurants, but the one prepared at Rozi Darbarr Restaurant outshines all of them. Melt-in-the-mouth and oh-so-creamy! It lives up to its name.

Unprofessional welcome. We booked for a group of 11. They allowed only 3 persons inside and closed the door for the rest. We were late for 30 mins, without any communication to us, they cancelled the table set and allocated to other guests. We were then all asked to wait for 10 minutes but after waiting for 30 mins on the street , we were seated with no table set up at all. Heard a lot about this place and was craving Indian food for a long time but to my surprise the food was not up to my expectations. For someone who have tasted real indian food before The taste was very bland and way too much spices to just cover up the mediocre taste whichcan upset stomach later on. I ordered dessert at the end which they never bought and they charged me for that and as I was in a rush that day I paid the bill without even realising.Way too expensive food.
