Here is the first instance where I felt reading these other reviews was of not much help, with the exception of the fact that this casino is small. However it is elegantly appointed and staffed to the level of at least one employee (or more) per customer, and all of them friendly and helpful. Although they didn’t all understand English perfectly, they made an effort to make sure we had a great time. I made the mistake of not bringing my full bankroll to gamble here because we ended up coming here every day we were in Cancun. YES, they will take about 10% on the front end when you put funds into your card. YES, they will take a slightly smaller percentage when you cash back out. No, I do not find this to be an issue and I’ll explain why. The slot games hit well... real well. Just about everyone in our group found themselves substantially ahead at one time or another. The second visit I went down quite a bit, almost out, and then ran it back up to triple what I started with. I’ve rarely experienced such runs and I spend a lot of time in casinos (we don’t need to go into exactly how much) but I know high payback machines when I play them. I played these for 3 days and they pay better than any I’ve ever seen... Trust me. Reviewers also don't like that the machines show $ and cents but it is actually pesos. Let me explain: most machines can be played in denominations of 5c (.05 peso) 10c (.1 peso) and 25c (.25 peso) so the minimum bet on most of their slots is 50 lines X .05 pesos or about 12 cents USD. So when people complain about the machine saying they won $1000 but it was only 1000 pesos they were probably only betting a quarter! If you're gonna play slots then you've got to know your math. The drinks are not free and pretty much US prices... fair enough. The slots were mainly variants that I had not seen before of Lightning Link or Bashiba Link type machines. The machines were clean and modern, the property was clean, and no ticket in and ticket out to worry about, everything just stays on your player’s card... easy. Plus they always have at least one or two attendants in the slot area making sure you have no problems. In fact the one female attendant who works during the afternoon made my gaming even more fun, she was always there to cheer me on and wants you to win. Never seen such a thing in a casino. Had a great time!
