Perast is such a lively touristic town.

Let me start by saying: ❗️❗️❗️DON'T GET SCAMMED❗️❗️❗️by the boat companies at the parking area at the entrance of the city that is specifically free for the visitors. They claim there's no free parking spot but immediately find one for you if you're spending 15-20 euros per person to go visit the Lady of the Church museum. The ticket is only 5 euros for such visit.

Except for this, really liked the town. There are some good restaurants to choose from, some nice cafés and so many souvenir shops. We enjoyed our visit, had a nice coffee break and tried the local cake recipe as well. Would have loved to visit the mussel farms along the coastline but we had little time left. Don't miss Perast during your visit to Montenegro. The view is magnificent and there's such a good vibe overall. Would...

What is most beautiful about this cute town is its location and awesome views

Few minutes away from Kotor , this fishing port town is picturesque and no words are enough to describe this place

This town has been attacked by the Ottomans( they sent the pirates from Tunisia and other North African countries) , people here fought bravely and although lot of them lost their lives in the battle but they never gave up

That phase is known as the Great Raid, a gruesome history of the past

Now it’s a place where old palaces are standing but in the form of museums, hotels, restaurants and more

Saw a few churches

It’s such a small town that the historic parts can be covered in...

A beautiful small town of Boka Kotorska that attracts local and foreign tourists with its appearance and atmosphere. with a view of two islands, on one of which is the magical church of Our Lady of the Rocks, which you can reach in a few minutes by boat from Perast. There are several restaurants, caffes, you can find from seafood specialties to barbecue in almost every one of them. Ice cream, pizza, too. At the very end of the street you will see the Museum. The architecture is fantastic and the view unique. The church is unique. Ideal for an one day trip, and if you don't have that much time, take a couple of hours to speed down through the place and jump to the...

Very small beach, water is very cold and difficult to enter due to sharp stones and sand (not fine but rather coarse). Boats pass often and water gets muddy and dirty so it’s not pleasant to swim. Sun-beds are 30e for two people, they accept cash only. Orders are cash only too. Locals come throughout the day to use tiny stretch of the beach that is apparently free and make already small beach even more crowded. The waiter (Marko) is doing his best to serve and take care of the guests, so five stars to him. The view is stunning though. We came very early in the morning to get the spot but reservations are preferred. The beach is managed by the local bar, no wifi available.

What is the point of this tiny town? Sure, it’s picturesque from certain angles but the food is so expensive and you’ll be able to walk through the whole town within 20 minutes. I don’t know if there’s any point coming here from Kotor. Definitely do not try to walk here. Most of the walk is on the highway. If you’re only coming here for the oysters, don’t bother going to Perast. Instead, go to one of the oyster farms on the road between Kotor and Perast. The oysters will be cheaper and fresher than in Perast (where you’ll pay around €6 for an oyster).
