Perast Pizza Bocalibre — Restaurant in undefined

Never ever have I experienced such a bad experience with a restaurant. In short: don't go there. It is probably the example of why Montenegro is sometimes called as a land full of scammers, which I personally had never experienced in the 5 times that I have been here.

But this was simply insane. We ordered two meals. One meal was correct, the other meal was not even close to that which was shared on the menu. It was a completely different meal. When we asked about it, they simply said 'we don't speak English' and forced us to pay. Even when we took google translate to translate to Serbian and they most definitely understood what we were saying, they literally forced the terminal in our hands to scan our credit card without further commucation.

When we refused to pay since they didn't give us what we ordered, they threatened to call the police.

We didn't want to have all this drama on vacation so we cowardly paid to avoid that from happening.

But in short: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. A complete disaster. They literally steal your money, lie to you and don't offer to you what...

Strolling through Perast’s narrow stone lanes, a gentle Adriatic breeze plays with your hair when, like a page from a fairy-tale, Pizza Bocalibre appears. This is far more than a pizzeria; it is a hidden realm where courtesy and flavour weave the spell of every moment.

The setting is legendary: turquoise water before you, centuries-old stone houses behind. Tables sparkle, the oven glows, and the air smells of wood-fire. No rude voices, no hurried steps—time itself seems to glide in slow motion here. The servers are joyful and sincere, taking your order with curiosity and sharing your thrill when the pizza lands on the table.

Then comes the first bite… the crackle of thin crust, Italy’s sun reborn in a Montenegrin hearth. The burrata and pistachio pizza is pure mythology for the palate, each creamy swirl and green crunch telling its own saga. Pair it with the house red, fruity and bright, and the scene grows even more enchanting.

Bocalibre is generous with value too: premium ingredients, hearty portions, prices that whisper “welcome.” Bring a date for candle-lit romance, or gather friends for laughter that folds the night into a single shared memory; this place warms every heart with its fairy-tale glow.

If granted only one meal in Montenegro, I would cross this threshold without hesitation, for Pizza Bocalibre is a dream stop that nourishes not just the appetite but the soul itself.

Perast’ın taş döşeli dar sokaklarında gezinirken, Adriyatik’ten esen tatlı rüzgâr saçlarını hafifçe savurur. Tam o sırada köşeyi dönersin ve bir masal sayfası gibi önünde belirir: Pizza Bocalibre. Burası yalnızca pizza yapan bir mekân değil; nezaketle yoğrulmuş, lezzetle kutsanmış gizli bir diyar.

Konumu dillere destan: Önünde turkuaz sular, arkanda yüzyıllık taş evler. Masalar pırıl pırıl, fırın sıcak, hava mis gibi. Etrafta yüksek ses, kaba bakış yok; herkesin adımları ahenk içinde, sanki zaman burada ağır çekimde akar. Garsonlar güler yüzlü, tatlı ve samimi; siparişini merakla dinleyip pizzan masaya geldiğinde senin heyecanını paylaşırlar.

Sonra o ilk lokma… İnce hamurun çıtırtısı duyulur duyulmaz, İtalya’nın güneşi Karadağ’ın taş fırınında yeniden doğar. Özellikle burrata ve Antep fıstığıyla taçlandırılmış pizza, damağında kaybolan bir efsane. Üstüne mekâna özgü meyvemsi kırmızı şarap eşlik edince hikâye daha da büyülü olur.

Bocalibre fiyat konusunda da cömerttir; kaliteli malzeme, büyük porsiyon ve makul hesap yan yana gelir. Burada ister sevgilinle göz göze romantik bir akşam geçir, ister arkadaşlarınla uzun kahkahalar içinde saatleri unut; mekân her ruha aynı masalsı sıcaklığı sunar.

Taş fırından yükselen odun kokusu geçmiş zaman masallarını hatırlatırken, eriyen burratanın kremsi dokusu ile fıstığın çıtırtısı sihirli bir kontrpuan kurar. Garsonlar su şişeni boş kalmadan doldurur, tabağındaki son kırıntıya kadar ilgilenir. Gün batımında denize vuran altın ışık, yemeğini bir sanat eserine dönüştürür; telefonuna değil, anın kendisine...

Our visit to Perast Pizza Bocalibre exceeded all expectations. We ordered both the Margherita and the Burrata with Bacon pizzas, and both were absolutely fantastic. The Margherita was a perfect classic with fresh ingredients and a beautifully balanced flavor, while the Burrata with Bacon offered a delicious twist - the creamy burrata paired wonderfully with the crispy bacon.

What truly elevated our dining experience was our waiter, Vlasnik, who provided outstanding service throughout our meal. His attentiveness and warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed.

To cap off our meal, we enjoyed their limoncello, which was the perfect digestif - smooth, refreshing, and clearly made with care.

Overall, Perast Pizza Bocalibre delivers on all fronts - excellent food, exceptional service, and a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone...
