⭐️Really great place to spend the morning, afternoon, and evening!
✅️⭐️⭐️Mostly clean, calm, and some gorgeous views.
❌️🤬The annoying thing is the endless begging, random music and dancing AT you and the street vendors with 😎 to 🍓 and - some of the children begging will continue to follow you if you're not stern. This is whether you're sitting, walking, talking, or breathing!! It does get very frustrating. Learn some basic arabic, which is what we use to make clear that we are not interested.
✅️⭐️It is safe with a strong military and police presence. They do foot patrols, bike, quad, and vehicle patrols, and they are also stationed at various intervals, so you never feel worried or unsafe.
✅️⭐️There are some nice eateries and cafés here. There are a few souvenir shops or stores with various apparel. There isn't much choice, though. You're better off going elsewhere for shopping like the souk. There are quite a few shops that were closed and derelict - perhaps impacted by covid.
✅️⭐️Nice place to relax and take some amazing photos too.
✅️⭐️Some nice cafés to have breakfast opposite the beach. There is a small churros stall called Xurros - tasty but some cold 🥶 service - no smiles or customer service, unfortunately, as they toss you the produce and take your money. Rather bizarre given you're the customer!
✅️⭐️You'll find all the favourites along the promenade like KFC, McDonalds and then some more local cuisine and international cuisine too like Lebanese, Indian and Pakistani etc so plenty of choice. Pop on your SPF, hat, shades and sensible footwear and head down for a stroll. If you keep walking towards the mountain you'll get to the marina and the jolly...
Read moreNestled along Morocco's southern Atlantic coastline, Plage d'Agadir offers a delightful beach-going experience away from the busier tourist scenes up north. I found the long stretch of golden sand to be spacious, calm, and clean - making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind.
Unlike some beaches with loud clubs blasting music, this one has a quiet and peaceful ambience. Families picnic under the scattered palm leaf umbrellas while couples take long walks along the shore. The water is also very gentle with minimal waves or currents, which is safer for swimming.
While parts of the beach can get occasionally littered, I noticed groups cleaning up trash and maintenance crews tending to the public areas in the mornings. Overall, the sandy stretches and wooden boardwalks were free of debris during my visit.
With plenty of room to lay down your towel or play games, along with lovely views of the Mediterranean's azure waters, Plage d'Agadir hits the spot when you want to lounge on the beach without huge crowds or noise. The backdrop of the nearby Kasbah and Talborjt mountain to the north also make for fantastic scenery as you watch the sun dip towards the sea at dusk. It's a prime place in Agadir for people-watching, reading a good book, and simply sinking your feet into...
Read moreBeautiful must Visit. Beach is open and vide 5km from one side to other side. Wide Track is available all through lined up with beach side hotels, fast restaurants like KFC, Pizza Hut, McD. Fitness lover can jog and will also find Gym Equipments installed at every 1.5 Km. Adventure lover will get Jetski on rent of MAD 400 to 450 for 30 minutes. You can drive without any guide. Beach is safe for solo women travellers as police presence and patrolling can be seen on every corner of beach. If anybody is planning to stay in beach side hotel recomendation is to select Pool view room instead of beach view room. Beach view rooms are expensive and sea view will remain through out the day except the waves. In pool view ambiance is keep changing as many hotels conduct various activities at that area. That's my personal opinion. Some people loves to see and hear waves every moment if you are such a person then go with sea view room. I went on EID weekend so the rush was plenty less and complete...
