Not the easiest place to find, but use the map, because it's worth the effort! This is the BEST place for buying beautiful pieces from Morocco! You have every imaginable type of artesanal item in one place on three floors, and a fabulous staff to help you find that perfect item. We walked in and were overwhelmed at first with all the beautiful things, but our new friend, Abdul, helped us navigate each floor until we finally made it to the rugs area. He was so patient! We gave him an idea of our budget, and he pulled out several gorgeous rugs from which to choose. I don't know how we'd have made a decision without his guidance! If we come back to Tangiers, we'll definitely be back there for more...

Exquisite display of handmade traditional Moroccan goods. Woodworks, jewelry, ceramics, leather; and of course, rugs. Friendly workers, eager to please. While you may find it difficult to haggle, it is encouraged. Hey, it paid off for us (and them). We left with a beautiful, handmade 5x7 foot rug for a fair price....
