Update to my original review below: I originally gave my experience with NCG Corporate a 1/5 stars (would have given them a 0/5 if I could have at the time). But shortly after posting that review, I received a phone call and emails trying to salvage the birthday party.
I worked with Beth in corporate who was so timely in answering questions and getting back to me. There were minor snafus in getting the invoice paid and getting us on the schedule locally but today, our day was seamless. The staff at the theater (Jason and Daysha) were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. 5/5 wonderful to deal with our party of 30 and the associated food, drinks and cupcake shenanigans. Thank you both of you.
Overall, it was still a little rough having to go through corporate to schedule everything (would be nice to have a local representative to talk to and not just rely on waiting for a return email) but they definitely helped rectify the situation. The theater itself was comfortable and lovely, the staff was great and I ultimately could see myself returning/booking a group event again.
Original Review: I have had a TERRIBLE experience trying to deal with corporate, to schedule a group event.
I’m trying to schedule my three year olds birthday party which happens to fall the weekend after the new Paw Patrol Movie comes out. Contact the local theater who says I need to submit through the group events page on the website. Fine, no problem. 3 submissions later, no response. Call the local theater who promises to “nudge” corporate and I get an email from corporate a day later. Wonderful. I send an email back with no response. 4 emails in , 2 more online submissions and 3 calls to the local theater later and I’m nowhere. I have less than 2 weeks to figure out what I’m going for my daughter now, who can still come, etc etc and I’m SO FRUSTRATED.
The local theater staff have been wonderful and I’ve enjoyed watching movies here before but 0/5 stars, horrible experience with corporate. Would not recommend a group...

So my husband and I decided to go to the NCG theater tonight. We saw the movie The Lost City. We went to the 7:05pm showing. I was highly impressed the I could purchase the ticket online and reserve our seat before we got to the theater. all we needed to do is show our barcode for them to scan at the kiosk in the theater. While the staff is very young the still were really helpful. We paid an extra $2.50 for premium seat that were so comfy and had tray tables and even reclined so it was so relaxing .I would have given this 5 stars but the popcorn was pretty stale. So from beginning to end It was a descent experience. when we entered it was very well lit up in nice blue We paid $31.00 for 2 adults for the ticket and it was around $16.00 for a large popcorn and a large soda. Which the soda is self serve and the the coke machine has like a 1000 choice for different coke products. Defiantly does not look like the old cinema's. Hallways leading to the theaters is very bright and well lit up. The staff check tickets was very nice and respectful and gives directions as to were and the direction of your theater. the Row are very well lettered and numbered so you can find your sit. The movie was great the sit were so comfy and the theater we very clean. It was all and all a great experience. I did take a walk through the ladies room and I was very well kept and clean. One of the other things that jumped out to me was the water found that you can also fill a water bottle with. The only negative was the stale popcorn. Other then that everything else was great. It was a nice experience and we will definitely return. Thank you NCG for a great night.
As always have fun with what your doing and keep it Real because you know I do each and everyday.
Thank...
Read moreToday I took my client to the Kingston mall movies Ncg today Tuesday 9/3/24 online the movies said first movie started at 11:05 with several others that were also playing round 11 and after. We always come on Tuesdays because it's half price and the times always work with the times I have my clients the 11 am show times. Today the girl came in at 12 she was so rude to us said her name is Laura said she is the head manager. She told me the times aren't correct online in which I always check the online times before planning our day especially when we go to the movies here. She told us she didn't care that we were wrong. There was a bunch of other people and children in the lobby waiting to go see movies too upset as well. They lost a lot of business today due to this girl Laura.and also for future movies because Laura said they no longer are playing the early matinee movies. She has all the doors locked it's 12:20pm people look forward to the early movies in which Laura said is no longer she said for now on the times changed and first movie starts round 1 for now on Which will never work for my clients who love to come and look forward to coming to this theater to watch movies. I explained to Laura that the manager man who is always here always went by the online times she told me he was fired and no longer worked here she told me he was always late to work. I than told her he still always honored the show times that were online. She gave me a phone number to call that was just a voicemail. A lot of people are upset today because they planned their days around the early movies showings that apparently are no longer. But all still show online when you search nearby theaters and pull up the ncg...
