Nice place to walk around in the evening. Felt like walking in the Dubai gold market, 80% of the shops on the new road area were gold and silver, was not ultra rich like normal Nepalese so didn't shop gold/ silver, seeing these many gold shops don't feel like Nepalese are poor 😂😂. Roaming around basantapur darwar square is a treat. Nice to see old shops still in operations with the same rush like bakery. Titaura, pau, pustakari. But traffic is uncontrolled. Too expensive taxi service need to bargain to get best price.

If you are looking for wholesale, retail market, jewellery shop, camara and watch Shop. If You want to visit basantapur durbar square this is the place to enter. This is the historical place with lots of temple such as kumari temple (living good), kal Bhairav, sano pasupatinath, hanuman Dhoka, kasthamandup and many more

It is one of the most crowded places of Nepal. It's located in the centre of Kathmandu city. There are lots of markets and shops where you can get anything. Near by it, you can visit Durbar Square and temple where you can easily spend your day.

I don't know how the market there is. But this review is solely for the momo center located in the juncture. Best place for the center, but most probably the worst momo i consumed in kathmandu valley.
