OYO 287 Hotel Buddha Palace — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

If you are planning to book this hotel because of 4.7 stars on OYO, please don't. That information is out of date. Nowadays, they just cancel your booking in OYO so that you wont be able to leave any bad review.

Here are few reasons why I chose to give 1 star review:

The internet does not work. It mostly said 'No Internet' when I connected to their wifi. Even when it said 'Connected', the speed was super slow; so much so that Youtube wasn't playing even at 144p.

Their complimentary breakfast feels lacklustre and almost scam. They gave only two breads and 1 black tea, which feels like it is only there to show they have complimentary breakfast. I have been to other hotels with much better complimentary breakfast which actually felt like a food.

The bathroom basin is in a very weird place that it is almost hard to use.

They cancel your booking on OYO so that you can't leave any bad review to their impressive 4.7 star rating.

It was a very bad experience due to insincere behaviour of the staffs. In a hurry I had left some costly clothings in the wardrobe of the room but later when I called them and claimed all the staffs pretended as if they know nothing, moreover when I called the manager he was yelling over the phone.
