I stayed in room 12. Nice for 2 people not for 4. Good heated system. The suppletory bed (couch) was comfy. What isn't good is the pillows, I asked for a flat pillow because the one we had was extra high but unfortunately they have only this kind of high, hard pillows. There was a window in the bedroom in the ceiling. The system to open the curtain didn't work or the receptionist didn't know how to use it. No toaster in the kitchen appliances. Very limited kitchen stuff to use properly in the kitchen. I couldn't close the couch during the day so the space for 4 adults inside the living room area was small. Not enough space to leave the hand luggage (we didn't have suitcases). No space for the raincoats for 4 people (the wardrobe is small)... Some switches were not working properly. Some lights were broken or not working. Very noisy room. The main door of the hotel doesn't close properly so everyone has to slap very strong the door to close it so they make noise all day and night. Please fix that problem urgently. They didn't replace coffee or tea bags during our 4-day stay. No shampoo, only a bottle of gel in the shower for body and hair (no good quality). The...
Read moreWe stayed in apartment 10 right next door to reception. The location of the building is excellent, so central and close to so much public transport. The area also felt safe at night and was very quiet.
The apartment itself was incredibly poorly ventilated so when we made just scrambled eggs in the morning, it stank out the entire apartment for the day and smoked right up, as there is one teeny window that opens, up near the ceiling for the whole apartment. Due to this, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke when we arrived too from a previous guest. Aside from this minor inconvenience the apartment was excellent and suited us very well as we were out all day everyday.
I have given this place 2 stars overall, as all of the staff on reception are so unfriendly. Each time I walked past reception to leave and to enter the premises and attempted to smile or say hello after making eye contact, I was ignored each and every time. It was remarkable how blatant and rude this was for them to avert their gaze or ignore someone saying hello or smiling. How did you find all of your unfriendly staff? Was it on purpose or was it a...
Read moreGot to the apartment found out this was a no smoking street, only half of it? My friends had to cross the road to have a cig?.. The room was unclean and had an unpleasant lingering smell! The patio doors, I say patio it was more of a window ledge, doors didnt lock!!! From a person who suffers with anxiety it was incredibly hard for me to sleep with this, having to put things in front of the door!! I advised reception and they said ''i know its been like this for a few days'' ??? The curtains in the bedroom were broke - no privacy here whats so ever, i had to clip the curtains up!!. The ironing board was snapped in half and we paid £800.00 for 2 nights and they wanted a deposit of £400 or a form of ID.. how is that feasible? £400 not returned or a form of ID, just didnt understand. When booking they asked for a card for deposit but was told no money would be taken, £400 was taken out of my partners account, luckily getting this back from the bank as he didnt know what it was.TAKING MONEY WITHOUT PERMISSION. Would not recommend this place and will be filing a formal complaint and i believe I deserve...
