Meneer Temaki — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Food that I ate ( shrimp tempura) tasted ok, but the young Asian girl working the counter, picked up change (tips) , picked up something from on top of a bin just outside the stand all whilst gloved, then went to prepare sushi rolls (obviously included touching them) with out even thinking to change them once that is very very unsanitary !! She also comes across very cold and as if we’re forcing her to be there. Not pleasant at all. Entirely off putting. Wouldn’t return simply because of her attitude All rolls are lying out premade so the only fresh thing about them is the toppings 😬 The actual sushi chef with the long hair on the other hand was nice...

This was the first time going to the Foodhallen, I was looking for a nice place to eat and stumbled across Mr. Temaki.

I ordered a poke bowl with salmon and avocado. I paid for the food, turned around and not even 1 minute later it was done. I’ve never experienced a service that fast. The employees overall were really friendly and the price/quality was really good.

sushi is falling apart. they were already prepared in advance, I do not know how long they lay there. they were simply cut by some kind of machine and they put them in a container that does not even fit in shape. So the sushi lie on top of each other.

I saw photos of other reviews and my sushi (same medium set) was not so beautiful and appetizing. probably the first time in my life I didn’t finish sushi
