We visited today for the first time here. There was a time to meet Peppa. Watching some families before us, I noticed some took individual photos of their child and a family photo as well. So, we took a photo of our first child first, and since our second child is still very young, we wanted to take a family photo with him in our arms. I asked the staff with black curly hair who was standing there, if she could take our family one. Without a smile, her prompt answer was like, “As you can see, it’s very busy time.” As she took photo, I thanked her and left. But the comment left me feeling strangely upset. If she was going to take a photo anyway, it would have been nicer to leave us with a good memory. Even my husband who was next to me, said it felt like discrimination. Visiting from France, the main reason for our visit was our first child’s love of Peppa Pig. Sometimes a single experience like this can shape someone’s image of the country and the people.
Here are some additional comments about the facilities: The small slide next to the yellow spinning slide is designed in a way that a baby can bump their head while trying to stand up after sliding down. / Some structures can be redesigned. / riding tricycles in the middle of the way doesn’t seem safely designed. / It’s difficult to find a place to sit or eat, as people save spots and seats for themselves. It’s ironic that children are required to take off their shoes, while adults walk around with theirs on. I think it would be better if everyone took off their shoes fairly, and it would be great to have lockers near the entrance for shoes and belongings.
For Peppa lover child, it is a place to go once in a while. Nicely colored and decorated. / Today, the eggs were really well hidden, it was so much fun to find the...
Read morePros: Very fun for kids. My son is nearly 2 and had a blast. Around noon Peppa showed up for photos, which was cute. There’s benches all over the place for parents to sit.
Cons: Adults wearing shoes on carpeted areas where babies and toddlers crawl around. Not very hygienic. Why is there not a no-shoe policy enforced for the whole place? I asked an employee and got they replied that adults are allowed to walk around on shoes in some areas. Makes no sense. The carpet is very dirty, lots of stains. There have been complaints about this in previous reviews but apparently nothing has been done to resolve the problem.
Even though there’s space to sit, there should also be a place (lockers?) for parents to put their bags and other stuff, so they don’t leave it on the benches. Leave the benches for people to sit. There’s enough space at the hallway near the elevator for lockers.
Also, it’s very, very pricey. 21 euro per child, 7 euro per adult. Albert Heijn has a deal for 1+1 for free, so you might want to check that out.
Tip: go early in the morning to avoid the crowd and don’t forget to bring socks for you and your kids.
Please be considerate and take off your shoes, there’s kids crawling around. Just because you apparently can, doesn’t mean you should. Don’t be that person.
Edit to reply to their response: Don’t work on better communication about not having a no-shoe policy. Enforce the policy! It has been a huge point of feedback from lots of parents. Why not work on that? Isn’t hygiene important in a...
Read moreWe recently visited Peppa Pig World of Play in the Netherlands, and I have to say, it was a hit with my kids! They’re huge Peppa Pig fans, so stepping into a fully themed Peppa Pig playground was like a dream come true for them. From the moment we entered, their faces lit up with excitement. The whole place is designed to feel like you’re walking through Peppa’s world, with different areas inspired by scenes from the show.
There’s so much attention to detail, from Peppa’s house to the school and even the muddy puddles area (don’t worry, no real mud!). My kids ran from one play zone to another, completely immersed in the experience. It was great to see them interact with the world they know so well from TV. Our kids loved the challenge to find the lost items of daddy pig.
It’s not the cheapest playground out there, but if your children are Peppa Pig fans, it might be worth every euro. It’s a well-organized, clean, and engaging space that truly brings the Peppa universe to life. We ended up staying much longer than we expected because the kids just didn’t want to leave. I’d definitely recommend it to any...
