The Hague Central Station is a very nice and well-organized train station. I had a great experience here. It’s clean, bright, and easy to move around, even if it’s your first time.
The station has great connections to many places in the Netherlands like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, and also international trains. Trams, buses, and metro lines are also connected, so it’s easy to go anywhere in the city from here.
Inside the station, there are many good things: • Shops and cafés to grab food, snacks, or coffee • Clear signs in English and Dutch, so it’s easy to find your way • Helpful ticket machines and travel info counters • Free Wi-Fi, clean toilets, and comfortable waiting areas
It feels safe, even in the evening, and there are always people around. The design of the station is modern and beautiful, with lots of glass and natural light.
Outside the station, you are already in the city center — just a short walk to shopping areas, restaurants, and tourist spots. You can find halal food and supermarkets within walking distance.

Read moreGood looking station however they really need to work on their service workers' attitudes. We wanted to buy tickets for the Tram but the worker told us to "just walk" the 20 minutes with all our luggage (maybe there is a reason we want to go by Tram???) and when I confirmed we want to buy tickets, instead the worker rudely replied "So what do you want?" without explaining the different sorts of tickets and making us feel very stupid for not knowing their ticket types. She did give us a brief introduction of the 3-day ticket and recommended that one however, overall this worker really ruined our first impression of the city and left us feeling unwanted and it kind of felt discriminatory. If you don't want to sell tickets or work with tourists maybe dont do...
