I would like to note however that I am really unhappy about the amount of plastic packaging used in the store. I know people who consciously don’t buy plastic clad items and I’m trying to do the same to the best of my ability. There are other options to sell these carrots for example - 4 for $2. Same for feijoas - $4 per kg. As for bags, there could be paper packaging or just BYO. If it really needs to be wrapped - there are bags that are compostable and can be used instead. I’m a lot more likely to shop in places that do their bit for the environment and I’d definitely recommend this place more if it was conscious in that way.
