Cambridge Farmers Market — Attraction in North Island

July 2025, Saturday, this Market does not meet Cambridge's Town-Class anymore!... products become more & more expensive without matching the size or quality now, when you buy a coffee or a snack (in 1 way cup and plastic) = no rubbish bin around, only at the exit / carpark. .... and the music man in the middle of the place plays in a whining poor quality, the song, "HALLELUJA" funeral-style ,...and it is a fresh-sunny Saturday morning,... ohhhjehhh. . Great bunch of stalls, each and every one selling something delicious or useful. Zero tat or fluff at this market! You could create a gourmet three course meal just from this place. Meats, veges, fish, preserves... It's all here. And for those Cornish types out there (like me) they have PROPER PASTIES....

Always fresh produce, a variety of breads, fish, meat, flowers and all sorts of special treats. Lots of parking around. Live music can usually be heard and more recently tables and chairs with cover for people to sit and relax. It is always good to be able to talk with the people who are passionately involved with their own produce. Highly recommended, even if you are...
