Very cool sulphuric spring, free of charge to view, and especially free of charge to smell. The stench of sulfur is almost identical to that of rotten eggs - horrible to smell but fun to watch your friends react. The water is amazingly clear and beautiful at the bottom of the spring. Definitely recommend swinging by to give it a look, especially since the drive around isnt too shabby.

We stopped by Rachel Spring Whangapipiro in Rotorua as we saw some nice cottage building to take picture. We also walk around the hot spring area and it has strong smelly sulfur smell. We also able to spot some unique sculpture along the way. Nothing else is interesting in this are, just free view and smell on the natural hot spring.

Well its a minipool of hot sulphuruous water surrounded by a fence. No swimming allowed or otherwise you get cooked. Dude standing nearby told me someone did just that year ago and died in it. Kinda creepy. Oh and there is a pipe in it. Supposing it goes to one of the nearby facilities. There are toilets next to it.
