This is my first time i eat very indian food sit in a restaurant, so probably i had a super experience also because of this, but i'd say that food, i ate chicken and lamb meat, were very cooked well and very soft :) the guy at the entrance was really polite and kind and personally advised me what to eat when I asked if I wanted to eat meat and last and first time i came here he was still accomodating and kind. 5 stars without doubts :) i'm a backpacker who doesn't know anything about indian food or even New Zealand, but i will be to remember this place as one of my first places i've visited and enjoyed so i really liked it :) enjoy it too! This store is sooo authentic and delicious. The owner was friendly and polite. I noticed bunch of Indian family’s dine in here yesterday, as an Asian, I know that’s the sign of authentic food. Highly recommend! I ordered the lamb lunch special and that’s the best lamb and naan I ve ever tried in an Indian restaurant. The naan has a little bit gee aroma in it which makes it yummy. Love it.

I love coming here, I feel so at home, welcomed, loved, cared for. I drive 30/40mins just to come here, and it’s worth it. I love the food and company, this place is like my second home and it sure has my heart and tummy. Thank you so much team, you’re definitely family in my heart and soul. Much aroha and blessings. Please come and give Indian pallet ago whanau, I don’t regret it one bit.

I had a really disappointing experience with this place. This restaurant is selling fried rice in the name of Biryani. When the food finally arrived, it was extremely oily and way too spicy – not in a flavorful way, just overwhelming and unpleasant. They even cant remember that they are selling food in New Zealand. The staff or owner teams need more trainings on customer service.

To make things worse, when I tried to ask about the food and the food quality, the staff was incredibly rude and dismissive. No courtesy, no apology, just attitude. Totally unacceptable service and not worth the price of the food. To everyone ,totally not recommending to go this place and order...

Love going to Indian Palate😍

I highly recommend going to Indian Palate. They have really good service, very accommodating, and the food is exceptional. I didn't eat much curry, but over the last few months, I started eating it more and more 🤤 They go above and beyond for you and always ensure that you're happy. We had a birthday there and they allowed me to decorate also 😊 But let's talk a little more about the food, have tried many food there from Dal Makhani, Rajma, Amritsari Kulcha and my all time favorite Matar Paneer. The curries are full of so much flavor, are good portions, and have decent prices 🤌 If you havnt been to Indian Palate Definitely go...
