Woolworths New Plymouth Central — Attraction in North Island

Woolworths ae... thought this was countdown a year ago...and before that was Woolworths..no wonder the prices in these chains are for the rich...millions of our $$ going into rebranding...you start with a well known name stick with it...i didn't change my birth name. Like vodafone a well known name rebranded to one ... I think...no one knows wat or who they are until someone says its Vodafone... Humans are getting stupid and retail outlets let them do it...who put the idiots in charge of major companies...stop spending money on names and make the products cheaper so we can enjoy life again...ten years ago and before that food prices at supermarkets never faze me but when i get nothing for my last 100$ not worth being alive...to expensive!! Not just us that suffer... the animals at less income homes dont get feed cause cat food is $6 a tin...i eat noodles just to feed my dog...nz meh ... Woolworths...

I did my first online shop from the central New Plymouth store. I called on Tuesday to see if they delivered rural, I was told A delivery driver would call me as they were uncertain if delivery to my address was possible. A lady called me back ten mins later super friendly and nice and gave me the days and times. I got a message the next day to say delivery would be between 17.45 and 18.45 at 18.35 I received a message my delivery was close. a few mins later the driver turned up super friendly and great customer service every item was on the list and it cost $20 less than what it said on my basket total. Perfect...

I used a basket on wheels and went to the self serve checkout. I had to walk over to the staff member and ask for her to approve my purchase after 10 minutes when the other checkouts were empty and she was just standing there. She did not greet me with a ‘Hello’ or a friendly manner but then was very lovely to the lady next to me when she turned up. I then packed my groceries into the trolley basket and went to walk out and another staff member told me to put them in a trolley AFTER they watched me load my groceries into the basket. A friendly heads up would have been lovely. Very rude and unfriendly staff, will...
