As someone who isn’t a die-hard rugby fan, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the All Blacks Experience in Auckland—but I’m so glad I went. It turned out to be an unexpectedly enriching cultural journey that went far beyond the game itself.
What truly elevated the experience was our incredible tour guide, Linda. From the moment the tour began, she brought warmth, humour, and deep knowledge to every part of the visit. Her passion for both rugby and New Zealand culture shone through in every word, and she created an engaging, welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. She was especially wonderful with children—patient, enthusiastic, and genuinely kind. If I could give Linda five stars on her own, I absolutely would!
The venue itself is sleek, modern, and impressively interactive. Cutting-edge technology is used throughout the tour to draw visitors into the heart of New Zealand’s rugby legacy—allowing you to feel what it’s like to stand alongside the All Blacks as they perform the haka, among many other powerful moments. Even as someone not immersed in the sport, I found myself fully engaged, and I walked away with a newfound appreciation for the game and its deep cultural significance to Aotearoa.
That said, there are a couple of areas where I feel the experience could be enhanced. As someone who enjoys history, I would have loved to see more historic memorabilia—like original jerseys from iconic players through the decades, old boots, trophies, and other artifacts. These would have added a tangible link to the legacy being celebrated. Additionally, my partner was keen to purchase a Black Ferns t-shirt, but unfortunately, only larger women's sizes were available. A broader range of sizes would have been appreciated.
Overall, the All Blacks Experience offers an unforgettable dive into one of New Zealand’s most treasured institutions—delivered with high-tech flair and heart. While there’s room for a richer historical showcase, it remains a compelling and uniquely Kiwi adventure.
Five stars for Linda Four stars for the experience

Read moreA excellent experience! From the very friendly, warm welcome as you enter right through to end of the visit and the kind farewell, the team are knowledgable, friendly and so helpful. The experience itself is informative and fun. Sam was our guide and he was thoughtful and knowledgable - taking time to speak to everyone on the tour as well as guiding us through all the aspects of rugby in NZ. The rest of the team were also on hand throughout if they were needed and the chap in the shop bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we wanted. The journey you go through is so well thought out and you really feel that players have had an input in what you are seeing and doing. The interactive parts are heaps of fun and it's an experience that will have something literally for everyone. Whether you're a keen rugby fan, an All Blacks and Black Ferns supporter, or just interested in learning a bit more about kiwi culture, you will have a ball going through this tour. I loved the gaming aspect, the face to face moments with the haka, the player insights - it was all fantastic. And because you could do the whole thing in c90mins, it will fit into any itinerary - if you're just passing through Auckland or if you have days of activities planned, you should definitely include the All...
Read moreCurrently on holiday in Auckland from England and the experience happened to be on across the road from our hotel. What a fabulous experience it was. From the moment it starts you get an insight into the Maori culture , you see the never ending meandering river naming every player to pull on the famous black jersey , then take part in tests designed to test your decision making , your observation and your ability to work under pressure. The absolute highlight is entering the replica Eden Park dressing room where you hear stories from past and present All Blacks and Silver Ferns. The emotion in their voices when explaining what it means to pull that jersey on is clear to see and brings you to tears yourself. Then down the replica tunnel where the noise gets pretty loud onto the replica half way line. And what awaits you ? The surround screen of both the All Blacks and Silver Ferns performing their celebrated Haka right in front of you. Just look into a players eyes and you can see what it means. Finally you can try your hand at throwing to a lineout , taking penalty kicks , trying to score a try !!! A fantastic couple of hours. I can't recommend it highly...
