Exceptional house in the Ottoman style. If you've been to Gjirokaster, Albania this is built in the same style as ths Skenduli and Hoxha houses there. I think it was renovated recently because it looks really good. The house itself ia worth visiting but there is also a small museum inside. A bit sloppily curated as there is no order among the artefacts, it was definitely a pleasant surprise. The last floor was my favorite: it has a display of wood carvings and a glorious Ottoman style wooden ceiling. Entrance is 100 dinars, definitely worth it!

An absolute must visit in Ohrid. The first time I came to Ohrid in October 2020 I neglected to visit. Upon my return in August 2021 I made a visit. The museum was practically empty. It was also great there was an incredibly helpful staff member that answered all questions in detail. He also did not ask for anything in return. Really neat to see an ISIS statue from over two millenniums ago. Previously I have only seen alabaster ones in Egypt and this one was marble. Awesome house. Just an overall gem!

This museum feels like a journey through time. It's filled with interesting things from the past, sharing the story of a family. The place has a nice vibe, adding to the overall experience. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply curious about the past, exploring this museum is definitely worthwhile. Location is also pretty nice ngl! This place is definitely recommended, at least by me.

An interesting museum in Old Town Ohrid. This is a nice place to visit if you would like to learn more about Ohrid's history dating back from the second century B.C. The museum has quite a few exhibits with ancient pottery, artifacts, clothing, and furniture - my favorite was the intricate and beautiful wood carvings on the top floor. Takes about 30 to 45 minutes to see all the exhibits.

A must visit in Ohrid! I've never catched it opened till now so i think im in love with it! First of all, its huge! There is 3 or 4 floors, many rooms, museum part. You'll learn much about Ohrids history, dating back from the 2 century b.c. Awesome wood carvings on the walls and furniture. Artifacts, clothes, pottery.. Educational experience!

Dom Robevi to słynny i zabytkowy budynek w Ochrydzie, w Macedonii Północnej.
