This is the worst dining experience I have ever had in my life when it’s come to quality of the food and service !! Please, if you value your time and money never, ever go there! Half an hour ago me and my husband left the restaurant very disappointed!! We ordered grilled fish, however instead of grilled came fried fish. We asked for boiled potatoes with it, but instead, they served us French fries. After asking why the fish is fried, the waiter insisted, that it’s made on grill. He said he will give us boiled one after a while.. We asked another waiter to tell the manager, that we want to speak to him. His reply was:”He is not here”.. and we address the issue to him about the fish. He insisted again, that’s is made on girl ( come on, it was super oily, and with simple eye you can see that it was fright in a pan with the same oil from something else..) He lied for the manager. We saw him talking to him behind the bar. Around 20 min later the boiled potatoes came.. but again.. it was a joke… this potatoes were all with black dots, not even clean well. For the last time I asked the waiter to talk to the manager, cuz I wanted to give our feedback. I pointed him, telling the waiter I saw the manager. The waiter said ok… and even the manager saw me asking to talk to him, but just run away… What a behaviour?!?! OMG!! Unbelievable!!! ROUGH!!!! NO RESPECT to clients!! And this is the manager.. If there was less than 1 star I...
Read moreI visited “Dalga” restaurant twice during a recent short stay in Ohrid old town. The place was no more than twenty metres from my apartment building and was highly recommended by the host. My first visit, I went straight to a main dish of “Beef Stroganoff”. This version with bacon and pickles, rather than mushrooms and cream. I would have liked more rice but I did enjoy the food. The lakeside outdoor dining area was quite full, (Wednesday night), and the single waiter did a marvellous job keeping everybody served and the tables cleared.
Saturday night was a different matter. The outside dining area was full so I went inside. Two waiters were on duty this time but they were no match for the single guy. What struck me was how many people were turned away with empty tables remaining uncleared. Food wise, the starter of “Dry Sausage” was about 30 thin slices of one type of salami, which became monotonous very quickly and the main of “Chicken Shashlik” was okay but cold. Overall, not as good as I had expected...
Read moreI recently had the displeasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say it was a truly dreadful experience. The food was shockingly bad - flavorless, overcooked, and just plain unappetizing. It seemed like the ingredients were sourced from the bottom of the barrel and prepared with absolutely no care.
The presentation was lackluster at best, making the unappealing dishes even less enticing. The menu promised a culinary experience, but all I got was disappointment on a plate. It's as if the chef had no idea what they were doing in the kitchen.
To add insult to injury, the service was incredibly slow and the staff seemed indifferent to our dissatisfaction. It felt like we were more of a bother to them than valued customers.
Overall, I would strongly advise against dining at this restaurant if you have any regard for your taste buds and well-being. Save yourself the time, money, and disappointment by steering clear of this...
