Ohrid is lovely, a really great place to visit. There is a lot of history with churches close to 3000 years old. If you do visit the churches, the one closest to town has a certain, hard shelled, amphibian mooching around within the walls. The kids will love them!!
If you venture up to the castle, on the way there is a lovely takeaway coffee business that has around 8 different types of coffee and they make stroop waffles to order 😍 they are pretty tasty!
The castle is around 150 den to enter and they accept cards.
The open air theatre is pleasant and you can walk through it but there isn't much else to do there. There is a lovely coffee shop that overlooks the theatre though with a supermarket just behind it.
