Access / Finding the place This ferry "waterbus" stop, is best to reach either on foot or by tram/train. We would not advice to find a parking space nearby.

Connections: There are a lot of connections to the different islands of Oslo. We took the boat B1 that went over Nakkholmen - Liindoya - ... As a cheap way to visit Oslo by boat, its a nice trip around the nearby small islands, if you want to see Oslo from the waterside. We paid 39 NOK per person, but you can also pay 117 NOK per person for a 24h ticket if you are planning to go around in the city center.

Staff / boats: Staff is very friendly and helpfull + the boats are very clean. We decided to sit in the back outside since it was...

At times very crowded, and their lettering system is very confusing. We bought a day ticket for Oslo and had the impression that this was valid for all travel, including ferry. Turned out that the one ferry we wanted to use, no longer accepted those tickets. We were sent several places before we figured out where to buy the tickets. It was sour having to pay twice for the same trip, plus we lost 40 minutes that way. Seems like the people running the ferry have heard those complains many, many times before. The ship was run down, but very cosy, the crossing and...

Incredibly unpleasant workers here. Have gotten myself and have seen other get in "trouble" for such nonsensical reasons. Apparently they choose to employ only people with no soul. They will throw you out in the cold, no (matter rain or snow) for sitting in the waiting room for "too long". And will literally cut your bicycle-lock and steal Your bike if You have parked it in a place they don't like (not in any way disturbing other clients). They are so obsessed with sticking to their strict rules, that they forgot to have ANY compassion for...

Aker Brygge is one of the liveliest areas in Oslo and a must visit. It features plenty of cafes and restaurants, the national museum and the Nobel Peace Center. It is a walking distance away from Oslo's main shopping street Karl Johans Gate, as well as from various landmarks such as Akershus Fortress and the city hall. Aker Brygge is also where the ferries to Oslo's archipelago depart from, which makes for a great daytrip.

Aker Brygge is a vibrant waterfront area in Oslo, Norway, known for its lively atmosphere, upscale dining, and cultural attractions. Its ferry terminal serves as a key gateway to the Oslofjord, offering connections to nearby islands like Hovedøya, Gressholmen, and Langøyene, as well as sightseeing tours of the fjord.

We took the Museum Ferry over to Fram Museum and it was easy, fast, and a beautiful trip - what more can you ask for. You can buy tickets ahead or on board, and try to get in early so you can get a seat in the back which is the perfect spot for pictures of Oslo fjord. Total trip was about 15mins.
