I was unfortunately very much disappointed by the experience. I wanted to pay extra to get the best sandboarding possible in Huacachina, and got a very bad experience for a high price (50 USD). The most important point: they overbooked the tour immensely. There was like 60-70 people, mostly from one big tour group. There was a total chaos while picking the equipment. All the good newest stuff were taken and we ended with boots either too small or too big - just because there wasn't anymore to choose from. And the sandboarding itself was disappointing as well. While it's fun, we only sandboarded 4 times, 3 times from a small dune and one time from bigger. That's all. I'd expect that from a travel agency, but not from a company who says they're really passionate about sandboarding. I only managed to get some more riding by walking on my foot up some hill during the sunset. That's definitely not matching their description on the page. There were like 4 instructors for 60-70 people, so you can imagine how it looked like regarding getting some tips from them, nothing at all. Everything was super late. Also no GoPro footage at all, just some photos taken by phone.
Overall, I can't recommend it at all. Not worth the money. I felt massively disappointed. You pay extra to get very bad chaotic experience...

Dito was very friendly and helpful over WhatsApp before we booked.
Antonio our instructor was amazing and we luckily had a very small group so we had lots of individual attention and got lots of runs in. He also took amazing photos and videos for us all day and sent them over at the end of the day.
Near the start a couple of the dunes were a little busy with others learning which took a bit more focus when you’re new to it, but the majority had lots of space and by the end of the afternoon we were on big empty dunes that were perfect. Once we finished we were taken to a beautiful spot to watch the sunset which was absolutely stunning.
Riding in the buggies was also a very fun experience between the runs, our driver Jose was great! Definitely got the adrenaline pumping.
When we returned after about 3 hours on the dunes we had some apres ski drinks with our group and instructors for several hours. It was very nice to get to know them more and have lots of fun after the day.
Would highly recommend, you’re in good hands...
Read moreWe were thinking about doing the standard buggy tour in Huacachina. Because they're pretty cheap. We went into the store of Dito and they've shown us how they're tour is, so we choose to go with them. It is bit more expensive then the others, but every cent worth it. You get a full equipment with helmet, googles, boots and board/ski. So if you are a bit practice to boarding or skiing, you can do it nearly like in the snow. Even if not the theachers will help you. Wit the full equipment you can go mutch better the hill down as with the other tours. Because the others tours don't have a normal binding, you only can slide the hill down on your tummy. With Dito you can go the hill on your board/ski. The start of the tour is a bit harder, because you will walk a hill up to get used to the sand. But that is totally okey and makes sense. They also make some fotos and videos by gopro, so you get some good rememberings. If you are lucky then you can also meet a peruvian board star :) Don't forget to take a memory card or mobile phone to get the pictures of your day. Totally reccommendable and we would go...
