If I had to give a score to the hotel itself I would go for a 3/5. Good value for money.|But I had issues with some of the employees. Actually I forgot my trail shoes there. I contacted them, the next day when I was in Lima, by whatsApp and quite quickly they told me they have them. I asked them to send them to me with a bus going to Lima and they told me it will be done on the next day in the morning and I could have them in the evening. The next day I sent them a text to be sure they were on their way but no answer even though the whatsApp message was read. After a couple of hours, I asked again and the person told me it has not been sent because they don't have them anymore. (how come they can disappear ?!) After many texts they finally found them back, as if by magic and they promised me to send them in the evening and to give me the confirmation I could get them the next morning. The next morning I tried to contact them but again, no answer for a couple of hours. I tried again and again to call them, in vain. I asked the receptionnist of my hostel in Lima if he could try and... They answered directly. They told him it has not been sent because it was close (which is a lie, I had the confirmation later). It lasts 3 days more and finally I got my shoes back.|Moreover I did the check out in Huacahina Sunset hostel at 12 and left it at 6pm...nobody told me I forgot something when I left.|Either I have no luck... Either they were not...
Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was far from a pleasant experience. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the room was not properly cleaned. There was dirt on the floor, and the bedsheets were stained. Additionally, the shower had poor water pressure, which made it frustrating to use. To make matters worse, there was no soap or toilet paper in the room. I had to request toilet paper from the front desk, which should not have been necessary. Although we were aware that there was no air conditioning, the room's ventilation was poor, and it was incredibly hot throughout the night. The lack of airflow made it almost unbearable to sleep. On our check-out day, we left our bags in the hotel's luggage room, and unfortunately, some valuables were stolen. The security in the hotel is clearly inadequate, and this left us feeling very unsafe. On the plus side, the hotel is conveniently located near the city center. The price was cheap, and I suppose you get what you pay for, but I would still not recommend this hotel based on...
Read moreWe stayed one night on our Peruhop excursion to Cusco. The front desk staff seemed nice enough and spoke some English. Our room was R01 which meant it was in the building above the restaurant facing the lagoon. While the room was big, it was in disrepair and there wasn’t sufficient blankets on the bed as there is no heat and the nights are cold. There is a balcony in the common area ( looks like it’s shared with 2 or maybe 3 rooms), along with a tube tv and couches. Fixtures were quite old and there was peeling paint throughout the room. The only light in the room was the ceiling light. Since we were above the restaurant we heard the party until 4am - we were there on a Saturday and the town was hopping!|The best part of the hotel is the pool. While it’s not a large pool, the deck is in the sun, giving opportunity to rest awhile before heading on the bus. There are 5 loungers. |If you do stay at this hotel, I recommend staying in the main building where the reception is though I don’t know what those rooms look like. |Breakfast...
