Everyone is very friendly. You can get a bit of a discount if you bring cash. I didn’t bargain much because it seemed silly to just save a few dollars, but we didn’t buy anything expensive. Note- the blankets have different percentages of alpaca wool. Anywhere from 60-80 percent of I remember correctly. We paid 45 soles for the lower percentage one and 80 soles for the higher percentages. Still ridiculously cheap. I preferred the Inka market to the Indian one, but both are very similar. Tshirts were 25...

Nice market for tourists and souvenirs. They have a lot of alpaca items, but it was hard to tell if they were fully genuine or not; most likely had a small percentage of alpaca wool with a higher percentage of synthetic fabrics used to create items. If you want to ensure 100%, go to a reputable store if you're only staying in Lima. That being said, this has a lot of souvenirs and you can barter with the vendors. Cash and card are accepted, though some charge a small surcharge if you pay...

Nice place for touristic souvenirs and alpaca clothes. Not sure if they are genuine tho... Many stores sell the same things but with diffrent explanations about the materials... I always asked about the same poncho with the same Design. Sometimes it was 60% alpaca and 40% cotton, sometimes 70/30 sometimes it was baby alpaca, another time it was cashmere and alpaca. Well the things are beautiful tho. You should haggle about 30-50% and bring cash.

This is a tourist trap but it's a fun one. You'll find dozens of stalls full of color. Trinkets are everywhere from magnets, to mini sculptures, wooden utensils, hats, and other pieces of clothing. You will absolutely be heckled to try and visit a stall. Everyone will tell you that you should visit, they have the cheapest prices, or that you're welcome. Just keep walking and only go where you want. Everyone here is pretty cheap but bring cash.

This place is a gem. There are a lot of shops in here, most carrying the traditional gifts and souvenirs and some unique offerings. One shop that caught my eye had crystals and semi-precious gem stones, including huge chunks of lapis lazuli. The shop owners will invite you in, but are not pushy about it. I encourage you to visit if you are looking for quality clothing, fabrics, or musical instruments. I took home some of each.
