My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens) really enjoyed this museum! First of all, the building is absolutely stunning - remember to look around at the architecture as you wander from room to room. The huge display of minerals is amazing - so colourful and interesting. There is a dark room where you can see minerals under black light (beautiful) and many displays of mineral clusters (with scientific compounds labelled), and other pottery and artifacts. Read moreThis museum is an underrated gem of Lima, literally! We have taken our guests and visitors several times, and it never ceases to amaze and cause wonder. Such an incredible collection of gems, crystals, and minerals like I have never seen anywhere in all my globetrotting, and a testament to Peru’s riches and diversity. They also have a pretty good collection of ceramics, textiles and archaeology objects and no mummies! Read moreThis is a great museum, I liked the exhibition a lot! The collection of minerals is huge and there is a girl who can explain you everything about it and answer your questions. I liked that they have some information in English and video about minerals.
Recommendation how to improve this place: please provide more information in English, add some examples of WHAT this minerals use for and put some benches inside museum, the building is big and it takes fast to be tired, visitors want to sit and have a rest, but there is no place inside, only couple of benches...
