First of all, I wasn't happy first thing when we arrive they don't really help our luggage or assist in our room. And also they don't really pay attention with their guest requests. Good hotel but poor service. I was been traveling with my 2 kids and my boyfriend. We ask them to have extra bed but it takes few hours before they give and you need to call them 3 time after an hour but didn't get my request. Also ask them about the size of the room but they give us standard deluxe room 27sqm. In my booking is 37sqm. I was being disappointed totally and I did not enjoy our stay, unhappy 🙁. When the time is running, but they don't really pay much attention. Even one front desk office personnel he doesn't really much know about of how to explain to his guest needs and to approach the problems of they're booking problem through from the room size and the bed size. You see this is the problem when you put your staff in FO, but they doesn't really know how to provide guest needs and to attain there personal needs as a guest and give them attention. Hotel is not so high floor only 6or 7 floor I think and also the room is too small of what I expected... I got problem with this one front desk personnel. I ask him about my booking. I paid around 17k for 2nights. And he put in the registration of the form that I need to register. I ask him can you tell me how much cost of the hotel I book he tell me no. I don't know mam,. I tell him check the form again you give me and fill up the forum that you hand over me. He said I will check,. I said yes, please!!! And he said it's 8k for 2nights. I said how come? I tell him to ask the agency company because I book online. He tell me he don't have access the agency number and he cannot see it the all details and information. He said, he can only see in there booking in the hotel is only the room and how many nights. I was said, WHAT? how do you know my booking from the agency booking in online that I book in your hotel if you doesn't know my all details and info from the company and how it get to your hotel if it not connected through from there. I was really shock and devastated. I was totally shock.I alive in cebu I been many hotel from good rating to poor low class hotel I know the standard and quality of service I know the situation but this is the first time I have encountered ever, I terribly unbelievable... Also when you call the receptionist they cut your call. They're not really helpful, and also in the breakfast I ask for the salt. It takes time for one person to get the salt. One person I ask from the breakfast time and he come inside to the kitchen and get the salt is just nearby the corner of where he is standing but he never get back. I ask another staff in there but they doesn't really care or doesn't really know what to do. Or to say or respond. Al's othey don't really want to eye contact listening to what you'd said. Or attach by the words of what your telling them. I been many country in Asia but this is the wrong place and hotel I choose and picked. I think I was expecting good but I was wrong. Next time I will not go there anymore... It's a huge mistakes. Staff need to be trained more... Also when you have requested for the boating early morning for the sunset view or pictures tour, I ask them if they can make a wake up call but the reception said they cannot and insist me to go breakfast and go there in the reception to go in the Reception area instead. How could it be? 🙄😟How is surprising and big disappointment. I was traveling this coming year December 31, 2022 until January 2, 2023. To enjoy and I want to relax my mind from stressed but what I have been receive, I didn't expect...

While the location in Boracay Newcoast is undeniably peaceful and holds significant future potential, the current lack of developed retail and dining options in the immediate vicinity is a noticeable drawback. Upon arrival, the friendliness of the staff is immediately apparent and remains a consistent highlight throughout the stay. Every interaction is met with smiles and a genuine willingness to assist, which certainly enhances the guest experience and provides a positive atmosphere. The hotel's location within the Newcoast development offers a serene alternative to the bustling stations, providing a quiet retreat away from the crowds. It's easy to see the vision for this area, with numerous plots available for retail and restaurants. Should these spaces become occupied by vibrant establishments – bars, diverse eateries, and shops – the Savoy's location could transform into a truly exceptional destination. As it stands, however, venturing out for variety requires relying on transportation. The hotel Savoy cafe advertised all over the hotel a lunch offer from 11-3pm for 599 for a main desert and drink but when you go in there they say it doesn't exist. Unfortunately, the positive aspects are significantly overshadowed by some frustrating shortcomings, particularly concerning the breakfast and in-room amenities. The breakfast experience can only be described as diabolical for those seeking Western options. The selection heavily caters to local tastes, with a focus on curry and rice dishes. While this may appeal to some, the almost complete absence of Western breakfast staples is disappointing. Furthermore, the simple request for a well-done egg, explicitly asking for "no white sticky bits," seemed an impossible feat, with the eggs consistently arriving undercooked despite repeated instructions. This lack of ability to execute even a basic breakfast request is frankly astounding and makes the morning meal a consistently frustrating affair. Adding to the discomfort are issues with the room's climate control and shower. The air conditioning is woefully inadequate. It often feels like the compressor is switched off remotely, leaving the unit to merely circulate hot air like a powerless fan. Achieving a comfortably cool temperature in the room is a constant battle, making for uncomfortable returns after spending time in the tropical heat. Similarly, the shower consistently delivers only cold water. Despite adjustments, reaching a pleasant warm temperature seems impossible, resulting in bracing, chilly showers that are far from relaxing. While the staff's friendliness is a saving grace, service, particularly for drinks, can be surprisingly slow even when the resort is clearly not busy. It's confusing to experience significant wait times for a simple order when there are few other patrons around. In conclusion, the Savoy Hotel Boracay has a solid foundation with its lovely staff and a location that promises future appeal. However, significant improvements are desperately needed in key areas affecting guest comfort and satisfaction, namely the breakfast offerings, the functionality of the air conditioning, and the shower's water temperature. Addressing these fundamental issues would make a substantial difference and allow the potential of this peaceful retreat to...
Read moreWow, where do I even begin with this wonderful hotel? I really saVored everything the saVoy had to offer, and their efforts to colour my experience was nothing short of fantastic.
My wife and I spent a week at this hotel for our honeymoon, and from the get-go, they did everything they could to make our vacation extra special. From the moment we walked into their stunning lobby up until the time we left, we knew we were in for a very special stay.
When we first got in, the Savoy really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome as there was a surprise waiting for us in our room! Towels, folded meticulously and made to look like beautiful lovebirds, were displayed on the bed staring at each other in peaceful repose as the centrepiece of this lovely arrangement. Balloons adorned the bedframe, and the television displayed the word CONGRATULATIONS in big crimson letters, hailing our status as newlyweds with all the enthusiasm a written message could muster. A gorgeous and delectable cake stood in wait on the corner table of the room, ready to be devoured as soon as we were finished taking it all in. It was truly one of the most unforgettable welcomes we’ve ever experienced coming into a hotel, one we will remember for a lifetime.
Little did we know that that surprise was just the first of many terrific experiences we would have at the Savoy. Every single member of their staff was wonderful and accommodating, with each doing their best to make our stay more memorable with each interaction. We booked the Diner Under the Stars reservation, and I was left speechless at how terrific the dinner was. My wife and I were taken to a special table on their private beach that was as pretty as a picture, and I was blown away by the dinner itself. Menu 3 consisted of a five course dinner of Gambas Aligue, Cream of Corn with Cream Cheese, Quinoa Salad, Rib eye with Mashed Potatoes, Chimichurri, and Vegetables, and Chocolate Sabayon for dessert and let me tell you… EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF. THOSE. DISHES. DELIVERED. Wow, it was unreal as to how delicious the food was. Yes, it was a bit on the pricey side (10,500 php) but it was worth every penny. Besides, you only have a honeymoon once!
The excellence of our stay was only further emphasized by the thoughtful notes and desserts the housekeeping staff left for us each and every night, the wonderful (and free!) shuttle bus that took us to D Mall and City Mall, and the relentless smiles and kindness from every single person we encountered. From the waitstaff, to the security guards, to the room attendants, to the absolutely amazing restaurant manager named Maddie V who greeted us with a warm smile every morning for breakfast and gave us another free dessert afterwards (my god, we got so fat during this trip), everything this hotel did to make our stay unforgettable will remain in our hearts forever. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful honeymoon, Savoy team! We are looking forward to staying...
