The place has much lesser flowers these pandemic. Lesser thus higher prices. Local Radus Mums usually used for the dead, inauguration, and church now costs 300% higher with no BIR Sales Invoice being issued by flower shops to customers.
I do not understand why our government cannot put price control on flowers from Bagiuo. The sellers of local Radus and Roses are always taking advantage of high prices and the none issuance of legally registered BIR receipts. Hey!!! Shout out to #BIR!!!
One shop selling only imported flowers in Don Quijote Street (fronting 7Eleven Store) does not issue Sales Invoice. If you ask for one, they will issue it but, they will increase the price of your purchased flowers by 3%.
During Valentine's roses prices can rise up byfrom 2000% to 5000% without any BIR receipt issuance to customers. It was 5000% last 2021 Valentine's from Feb13 to Feb14. A Php50 per bundle ugly roses can rise up to Php1500 during Valentine's. And people still bought them so they increased the price from Php1500 to Php1800, then Php2000, then Php2300, and lastly was Php2500 in 24hour span. GRRRR.... Crazy!!! A whooping 5000% !!! Other than semiconductors and IC's, roses surely is the next lucrative business!!!
My advise is not to buy on those dates due to shocking high prices but on Feb16. Yes, after Valentine's because you will save thousands of pesos and roses are back to beautiful regular quality. Or buy imported roses because the price increase is just from 50% to 100%. Or order online your Valentine's bouquet 1month before Valentine's to save on the cost. Buy only from reputable flower shops online; better if you know the address of the shop, or the person selling. And buy only imported roses because local roses during Valentine's are so ugly- dark small buds. You will be ashamed giving them to your loved ones. I swear.
For transportation, use Grab, Lyft, or taxi. Do not also bring cars during Valentine's or on any peak season because of the traffic, parking problem, traffic ticket men everywhere, and flood problem if hard rain poured ( but when it rains hard put your car only on Laon Laan Street because it is the only road there that does not flood).
So, I guess, I made a very comprehensive review of Dangwa flower...
Read moreshopping for flowers either as a gift or as a decor to your home is always a fun thing to do. especially if you will be presented with lots and lots of flowers to choose from. dangwa does just that. from malaysian mums to expensive roses, to succulents and cacti, they have everything and anything you might need for a lively floral decor. stalls here offer floral arrangement just pick out the blooms you like and they will fix it, this is an added cost of course, but they make beautiful arrangements that the additional cost seems little. they also have pre-arranged selections for you to choose from, sometimes these cost less and would suit your budget more.
best time to go here would be mornings when there aren't much people around, and usually sellers give discounts because you're the "buena mano" sale of the day. some stalls have facebook accounts that allow you to chat them up and order in advace for pick up. it is advised to do this but ask for specific directions or where they are located to avoid the hassle of asking around since other stalls will try to win you over to buy from them instead.
best to bring cash since cards are not accepted and the atms are a bit of a walk out of the...

Strolling this place in the wee hours of moning to find a wearth/garland to adorn my brother's coffin on his wake. Indeed the best in town where to find the best flowers that anyone could choose from. From gifts, weddings, baptismal and funeral. You could find it all here.
Likes: they have all the varieties of flowers one could ever imagine, prices were reasonable- way-way too cheaper from a flower shop inside the mall. What I really like the most? You could haggle the prices.
Dislikes: Traffic, garbage, Not public CR in the area, No parking space
Over all rating this is the best place for...
