Well, where do I start? Perhaps with the fresh scent of coffee beans wafting from their newly added coffee shop – a perfect signal to my senses that I've arrived at The Atrium Salon and Spa, the place that makes Starbucks feel like a gas station convenience store. Their salon is so grand that calling it "newly renovated" feels like calling the Sistine Chapel a fresh paint job.

The Atrium Salon and Spa - the name alone is a vacation to your ears, but the experience? Now that's a trip around the world! They say variety is the spice of life and this place spices it up with a dazzling array of massages and hair treatments. You name it, they tame it!

If you're ever in Subic Bay, and you hear a loud sigh of satisfaction reverberating across the bay, that's probably my wife. It's her go-to spot whenever we're in town. You'd think she was a part of the Atrium loyalty program, given the frequency of her visits. She comes back with a glow that even the sun is jealous of and hair so smooth it makes silk feel like sandpaper.

Now, let's get to the foot of the matter. Their foot massage. Oh, the foot massage. If the foot could write sonnets, mine would have penned an epic by now. You'll walk in like Bigfoot and waltz out feeling as light as Fred Astaire. One might think they employ a team of miniature masseuses who play Beethoven's Symphony on your soles. Incredibly rejuvenating!

To put it simply, The Atrium Salon and Spa is to relaxation what Mozart is to music - sublime, exhilarating, and absolutely memorable. It's not just a salon and spa, it's an experience. I dare say, a rite of passage for every visitor to Subic Bay.

When you first walk in there is a two chair barber shop to the left with the larger salon on the right side. I went in looking for a cut and hair color. I walked out very happy with the results! I was a little bit unsure about the color because it is a departure from what I typically do but I wanted to try something different. I chose a lavender and violet color. It turned out beautifully. Hubby got a haircut and a goatee trim. Update: We had a good first impression but things have changed with return service. I went back for another cut and color. I had a different hair dresser this time. The color came off wrong and the cut was not good this time. I was charged ₱1500 more than I was told it would cost me up front. My daughter got a haircut and they charged for a long haircut. There is nothing listed on their price sheet for a long hair cut. I had to find a different salon to correct my hair cut, it was so uneven I couldn’t do...

When your daughter wants peekaboo hair and you end up getting a full glam session too! 💁🏻‍♀️💙 We found The Atrium here in Zambales and wow10/10 experience from start to finish. From the warm welcome to the top-tier service, this glam team made us feel like VIPs. ✨ While my daughter got her dream hair, I decided to get a fresh color too (because why not?). After months of traveling, this was the perfect reset before heading back to the USA. Hair, nails, massage they do it all! If you’re in Zambales, don’t miss this spot.
