My family and company never recommend this hotel.

We bought the dinner and we didn't know this hotel is not allowed outside food. When we came into the hotel, the hotel guard guy and girl who are standing the casino back door were very rude and reckless. They stoped us out and didn't explain anything unclearly, asking just what our room number is. And made us just following them. We were very terrifying and felt so uncomfortable. We had to stand on the lobby for minutes not knowing what is happening for us. when we reached at the front dest, finally we were able to get it that the hotel is not allowed bring the outside food.

The front hotel staff, Julian Ann I am not so sure her name is, was very kind and helpful. I wanna say thanks to her. Except her anyone standing by there never tried to help us. And I totally understand the hotel policy is and respect. But the guard guys, their rude and unaccountable behavior made us feel very terrifying and bad. And the staff said the policy was written with the paper that we signed checkin in. Actually they were not explained at all before, but also they didn't explained any other hotel complimentary facility service at all.

After then, the hotel staff said, we cannot keep the food inside and we were able to eat at the food court only once. So the rude and terrifying guard forced us to follow him to the food court. We are not a criminal just like they treat us. Anyway we were able to have the food at the food court.

Suddenly the staff who looks like manager wearing glasses, she came to us we have to pay the fee 700bat.

We were so shocked again. What is going on again? They didn't explained at all that we have to pay the fee if we eat the outside food at the food court. So I said to her that I didn't hear anything about the fee if so you guys have to explain it earlier. Why you just come and ask the fee when we just start to eat. They must be watching us the video for sure, following us. Thats so creepy. After all she didn't charge the fee. She didn't say any sorry about it just came and asked us charging fee 700bat. But Isn't it ridiculous? We all stopped eating. Actually we cant eat anymore.

Is this the service of 5 star hotel? Never!! I have never seen this horrible hotel.

This hotel staffs, they don't communicate each other well. And they, who I faced through this unpleasant situation, were so rude and objectionable, the guard guys who are at the casino door and especially the manager woman I don't know what her position is exactly, her attitude showed us the worst service. She never introduced herself, abruptly came to us to ask the money. They all were never sorry. If anyone who can't speak English visit this hotel alone, this hotel staffs would have done more terrible thing, and it's so terrible to think about it.

And also we ate the chicken the earlier the day where is named Americano on the food courts. The chicken was not cooked well, the chicken was very raw even bleeding inside. But we didnt claimed any of it. We just stopped eating. So at that time I said to her the manager what we ate the earlier day at Americano. She has just pretended not hearing ignored and gone. She never answered and we couldn't heard the answer about that.

We have been visited sort of hotel all around world. This hotel guys service is the worst in the world. Never recommend. Worst service ever. Who knows they only are kind to the filipino. But cleaning guys who is at the food court and room cleaning staff, only they showed better service, which is we never felt from that manager and any other front dest staffs.

If you guys want to go casino just stay any other good hotel near by this hotel. They are way better than this...

I had high expectations of Solaire Resort in Entertainment City after a great stay last March with no complaints. Unfortunately, this year’s experience was different.

_

Pros: Upon arrival, after a long flight from the United States and being robbed at the airport by officials, the lady at check-in was wonderful, upgrading me to the 11th floor with a stunning view of Manila Bay. Nearly all staff were exceptional, especially Jayvee, the Garden Buffet manager, and the entire buffet team. Their service alone made me reconsider returning. The Garden Cafe was also a great experience daily, with outstanding service from Arc and Patrick, who remembered me from last year.

_

Jayvee went above and beyond to make my stay better. He brought out something special for us to celebrate an occasion, had great conversations with us, and noticed when I was not feeling well one morning. He then surprised me with ginger honey tea to help me feel better.

_

Solaire staff generally excel in customer service, with many remembering my name, though it took nearly a week for room service to correct my name in their system.

_

Cons: My room had a beautiful view but poor shower drainage, causing water to pool incorrectly and flood the bathroom if not careful. Despite requesting untucked blankets due to an injured hand, housekeeping continued tucking them in daily.

_

I booked my stay for nearly $7,000 USD and was excited to learn about the 12th anniversary celebration featuring Michelin starred chefs. However, Yakumi’s event was a major disappointment, tiny portions, mediocre food, and a steep 26,000 PHP cost, leaving me frustrated and hungry. There was no clear indication it was a tasting menu rather than a full dinner.

_

Dining was overall disappointing. Water Side served me a flank steak instead of the ribeye I ordered, insisting it was correct. Finestra, which was excellent last year, served me an over salted, poorly cooked 12,000 PHP M5 Ribeye. Instead of confirming doneness with a gauge, they are just back there rolling the dice on the doneness. They threw it into a pan and overcooked both sides instead of heating it evenly in an oven. Their mango juice tasted fermented, and staff seemed annoyed rather than accommodating. Surprisingly, in room dining outperformed Finestra, though food delivery was inconsistent, my Yakumi order was cold, and my sashimi was warm as it was not placed on ice like last year, unlike last year’s perfect service.

_

The bed, initially comfortable, left me with severe back pain by the end of my first week, forcing me to sleep on the floor to feel better.

_

Management listens to complaints but only offers apologies without meaningful accommodations, which is frustrating. They do a lot of apologizing but offer nothing in return, which only brings back the frustration of the issues and makes me feel unheard.

_

Casino Experience: Baccarat is abundant, with tables as far as the eye can see and a separate quiet Baccarat lounge downstairs. However, the version of Baccarat available to non VIP players is one of the worst for a real non bonus Baccarat player. Getting paid half on 2 card or 3 card banker wins that equal 6 makes the game not worth playing. However, the dealers here are very professional compared to those in Las Vegas, which is a positive. However, the dealers are far more professional than those in Las Vegas.

_

Overall, I am disappointed with my stay. While the service from most staff remains top tier, the dining and accommodations left much to be desired. I still have a few days left, hopefully they will be stress free...

Solaire Manila is a masterpiece of elegance and sophistication, offering an unrivaled luxury experience in the heart of Entertainment City. From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay.

The rooms at Solaire are nothing short of spectacular. Spacious, exquisitely designed, and offering breathtaking views of Manila Bay, each room is a haven of comfort and opulence. The plush bedding, high-end amenities, and meticulous attention to detail create an atmosphere of pure indulgence. The housekeeping team ensures that everything remains pristine, adding a personal touch to their service that makes guests feel truly special.

The dining options at Solaire are world-class. Whether you're craving international flavors, authentic Filipino cuisine, or a fine-dining experience, the hotel's array of restaurants will exceed your expectations. My personal favorite was Finestra, where I enjoyed an incredible Italian meal with impeccable service and an ambiance that exuded luxury.

Solaire’s casino is another highlight, offering a vibrant and thrilling gaming experience. The variety of games, professional staff, and the elegant setting make it one of the best casinos in the country. Even if you’re not into gaming, the entertainment options available, including live performances and events, ensure there is never a dull moment.

The resort’s facilities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, a relaxing spa, and a stunning outdoor pool, provide the perfect balance of relaxation and recreation. Whether you’re unwinding at the spa or lounging by the poolside with a refreshing cocktail, Solaire ensures a rejuvenating experience.

What truly sets Solaire apart is its commitment to exceptional service. Every staff member, from the concierge to the restaurant servers, goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a flawless experience. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail make a lasting impression.

If you're looking for the ultimate luxury getaway in Manila, Solaire is the perfect destination. Every aspect of this hotel, from the lavish accommodations to the world-class dining and entertainment, guarantees an experience that is nothing short of extraordinary. I cannot recommend it...

We were excited to stay here and had high expectations for a 5-star hotel experience. While there were some positive aspects, several issues unfortunately made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped. 1. Check-in process could be improved. We arrived early and were told we would receive a text once our room was ready. Unfortunately, we never received any message, and when I followed up at the front desk later, there was already a long queue of guests checking in — indicating that rooms were available but we were not informed. 2. Handling of medical equipment. Security initially stopped our baggage because of my husband’s CPAP machine and informed us it couldn’t be brought to the room. This was surprising, as it’s a medical device he needs to sleep. It would be helpful if staff were more familiar with such equipment and handled these situations more sensitively. 3. Room amenities and TV issues. The TV in our room wasn’t working properly (No sound), and it took the technicians more than an hour to try to fix it. We were also told we had to choose between having YouTube or regular TV channels, and even after choosing YouTube, they were unable to get it to work — something quite unexpected for a five-star property. 4. Smoke in public areas. The lobby and even the breakfast buffet area had a noticeable smell of smoke. While we understand this is a casino hotel, it would greatly enhance the guest experience if dining areas were kept smoke-free. 5. Breakfast was decent but has room for improvement. The selection of fruits was great and I appreciated the gluten-free options. The cold cuts and cheese were ok. The latte most probably came from a machine, needs to be improved. The dim sum choices were limited and there were no Japanese options, which would have been a nice addition. Overall, there were good points and the staff tried to assist where possible, but the service and attention to detail fell short of what we’ve experienced in other 5-star hotels. We hope management will take this feedback constructively, as there is a lot of potential here to make the guest experience truly exceptional.

The entrance can be said to be luxurious, so are their rooms, it doesn't have an automated/heated seat though like in Okada. Thanks for the "free" room upgrade. They even gave.our bday celebrant a free cake. Thank you! The pool is wide, but has cold water (not heated pool like in Grand Hyatt bgc). The pool cafe is under construction so even if there are a few people there found it disappointing that they didn't get back to us after we asked for water since our snack is spicy. For stores, expect that these are high end, branded stores (LV, Rolex, etc) so if that's not your cup of tea, you need to find other stores outside the hotel. We enjoyed the casino but expect that it reeks of cigarette smoke. For the places to eat, all are expensive, the food court overrated. I guess the Abe restaurant is the only one that's a bit worth it. Seats are quite full though when we got there for dinner. For the Fresh buffet area though, my enjoyable experience turned sour when we were approached by two managers. My kid was crying, yes, but when 2 of the staff approaches you and saying how can they help, it would feel embarrassing rather than helpful. There are other families who had kids crying for a long time. Why was the only one treated that way? When we checked out, the seats near the concierge area are full so we were forced to seat in the ledge area of Oasis. Someone had reprimanded us to sit in the concierge waiting area but when I said that look, you can see that there's no seat available, how do you expect us to sit there? We're checking out anyway. He didn't bother us anymore. The hotel is indeed high end but if I would spend my money to stay, I'd rather choose the other high end ones than here.

Firstly, it is not a kid friendly place. You can smell cigarettes everywhere. The ground floor is an open space for smokers. Even when my sister is at the food court or at the main lobby or by the entrance you can smell smoke everywhere. By the time you get in your room your whole body smells like cigarette smoke already. The rooms are really nice and clean, the room service is excellent as well, hands down to the housekeeping staff. Also the ladies working at Dragon Bar were lovely and hardworking. The valet service is 0 stars. By the time we checked out at 11:40 and asked valet service for our car. We have been waiting for over half an hour. It’s the management’s fault. This is a busy time. A lot of people checkin in and checking out at the same time. Obviously the valet service will be busy, then they should roster more people for this busy time. It’s a big problem with a simple solution that the management wants to ignore. I feel bad for the staff working twice and thrice as much only to get the same pay. It seems like Solaire has a toxic management culture that values only money. That staff deserves better. The food court last night was EXTREMELY CROWDED. Solaire should have a crowd control on how much people they are going to let in. The staff seemed like they were going to go crazy trying their best to mend the situation. The ambiance of the place is not how I remember it from before. If not for the event we had to go to last night, we wouldn’t have stayed.
