Red Lantern | Solaire Resort Entertainment City — Restaurant in Parañaque

This Chinese restaurant is located inside Solaire Resort and Casino.

Solaire Resort was really one of the kind in terms of accepting guests in their hotel and casino. The way they practice disinfection was really high class starting from the hallway to the main entrance until reaching main door of the main entrance.

We visited the restaurant thru a same-day phone reservations. When we arrived, they assisted us to a closed dining area covered with high curtains (upon requests). It was really elegant and our privacy was maintained.

We have tried their table-top lunch buffet. Servings for each meal were good for how many will be the persons on the table. We have tried mostly what they offered in their menu.

We loved the “Siew Mai” and the “Ha Gao”. I believed these were their specialties. Mostly we focused in the “Dim Sum” menu. For the Mains, I recommend trying their “Crispy fried prawn salad with mixed fruits”. The prawns were really crispy and fresh. And for the desserts, we all loved the Chilled Mango Sago with Pomelo as well as the Baked Mini Portuguese Egg Tart. They were really satisfying.

Overall, if we still have the time in our vacation, we will definitely come back to try their other...

We had such a wonderful lunch at Red Lantern in Solaire for my Birthday. We booked a table for 2 and availed the Dimsum Lunch Buffet. This buffet is different as you have to order the dishes you prefer. Choices varies from Appetizers, Soups, Dimsums, Main Dishes and Desserts. Price per person is 1,188 excluding taxes and service charge. Buffet time is 11:30 to 2:30PM All the food we ordered were excellent but my favorite has to be the folloqing: Spicy Stir fry Angus Beef with Aspargus, Seaweed Soup, Deep Fried Taro Ball, Prawn Salad and Mango Sago. I was also pleasantly surprised when the staff brought a heavenly Chocolate Mousse Cake with candles compliment of Red Lantern. The cake was heavenly!!! Hot Tea and water were also served. Service was also excellent especially Gerry who made sure that we were sufficiently fed and not lacking in anything during our meal. I will definitely recommend this place if you are celebrating special occasion but make sure to book ahead as the place tends...

Ate the dim sum all you can eat brunch on 2/15/2023. Worst service ever. Slowest service, LOST OUR ORDER, finally the explanation was they we’re prioritising the larger groups (we were first table seated at 11:30) and a group of 5. Tea was cold, orders came in illogical order, food so slow that rice was cold before any other dish arrived. We didn’t even wait for the final deserts. When asked why the orders were lost twice, there was no explanation. Multiple waiters come and go, nobody ever asks do u want water or tea refilled. The YouTube videos of this restaurant are amazing, in reality the food is lovely, but so so slow that the total experience left us cranky with the terrible service and total lack of anyone caring that they ruined the experience. We ate another day prior to this at Finestra, also at Solaire Casino and that experience was out of this world fantastic. If you can handle cold food and most terrible service try Red Lantern. If not, go to Finestra. We won’t be back to...
