I read about the reviews posted by other reviewers and were intrigued by the descriptions of the wonderful food here. The maître d' Gino (Rommel) recommended their Saturday Brunch to me and mentioned that they serve a whole tuna and will slice up any part of the tuna per your request. I had to try it and boy were I impressed when I saw the whole tuna exhibited upon my arrival Saturday! They were not exaggerating when they said the "WHOLE" tuna! Before my eyes were display a beautifully carved up tuna with various section already filleted and ready for slicing. They had a chef push this cart of freshly carved whole tuna to each table and will slice up the pieces you requested. This was similar to Prime Rib being carved fresh in front of your tables at a Prime Rib restaurant. It was an experience that have to experience to truly empathize with it's full effect! I love this Brunch. It was the most enjoyable Saturday Brunch I have ever experienced. The staff were graciously friendly and their service was impeccable. They had a Tempura room that you could walk into that has the chef cook any tempura pursuant to your request. They had a Okonomiyak room where they will cook up any seafood pancake for you. They had a grill station where they will cook up a steak or large tiger shrimp for you. They had an ice cream station where they had fresh black sesame, yuzu, green tea ice cream made to order right before you( I met the chef Nori san there:-). There were so many delicous Japanese cuisine on display too numerous to describe individually! I ordered 2 orders of Shabu Shabu made to order. There were Sukiyaki too. They had free flowing sake, many types of beers and cocktails made to order. In short this fantastic display of Japanese cuisine is very reasonable I think at around 2,900 pesos all inclusive. I highly recommend their...

Read moreAbsolutely terrible service. I ate here with my family last night and the staff forgot my wife's order and tried to pass it off as kitchen delays.
We made a reservation for our group days before and we specified as soon as we sat down that we had a show to catch at the Solaire theater, so we can't be late for our seating.
Everyone was served their mains except for my wife. We followed up several times and 20 minutes had passed and my wife wasn't served her food. We had no choice but to cancel her order because we had to move to the theater to be seated for the show.
The server didn't apologize and made excuses even though she was at fault for forgetting my wife's order. I confronted the manager and he didn't know how to deal with the situation and refused to apologize as well - we had to tell him as a table that he needed to apologize. Because of their immense incompetence my wife didn't eat dinner and couldn't eat anything until the show finished at 10:40pm.
Its an absolute shame how your management and your team dealt with the situation. Yakumi is the bane of...
