Three years ago, we tried their Rainy Day Afternoon Tea for the first time. As recommended by their service staff, Ms. Melody, the petit fours were very filling and exceeded my expectations. The ambience is very cozy and inviting, with soothing piano music. We will definitely sample the other food items on their menu soon.
March 2022: I'm back after three long years. I've missed this place. We ordered Korean Fried Chix, Vietnamese Beef Pho, and Indian Lamb Chukkah for lunch. Everything tasted exceptional and very authentic! I love their savory food and desserts! Highly recommended 🥰❤️
Aug 2022: We celebrated my daughter's birthday. I ordered a lot of spicy food like Korean Fried Chicken and Pad Thai. The Pomelo salad, Pork Ribs, and Inihaw na Liempo were equally delicious. Desserts were also good, like the Nutella Peanut Butter L'Opera and Red Velvet cake, which wasn't too sweet. The fruit juices were freshly made.
The birthday girl was thrilled and content because this is one of her favorite restaurants. She requested to eat here...wish granted! They also gave her a free mini birthday cake!!! 😊😊😊
Feb 2023: We ordered their Valentine's Afternoon Tea. It was okay, but the selection was not that great. I prefer the Rainy Day Afternoon Tea better.
Dec 2023: I keep coming back to this restaurant. The place feels elegant and relaxed. The food is always on point, with lovely presentation and phenomenal taste. The atmosphere is very festive, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
May 2024: It's been a while since I've been here. We ordered two cake slices and Earl Grey tea. As always, the food and drink were yummy.
Aug 2024: Hang out one afternoon and have a delicious Crystal Rose Cocktail with chips and nuts... Perfect combination 😋
Aug 2025: It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since our last visit to this lobby lounge. This time, we noticed all new faces among the service staff, which might explain the painfully slow service we experienced. From placing our order to getting the bill, it felt like we were waiting an eternity compared to our previous visits. Here's hoping they get back into the groove soon!
September 2025: We found ourselves at the bar, a cozy spot since the dining area was packed. It was a great decision—we ordered various appetizers that were absolutely mouthwatering! As I enjoyed the food, I asked the bartender for a recommendation. He whipped up a Whiskey Sour for me, and let me tell you, it was a delightful blend of flavors that perfectly complemented...
Read moreWe came to this cafe after watching a play at the theater. One of my friends was craving for a burger and this cafe looked comfortable enough.
The decor was stunning, to be honest, and I wished the service matched it.
We ordered Guinataang Bilobilo, a homey dessert made with yam, ube, sweet potato, sago pearls, sticky rice balls and coconut milk. At more than PHP 500 a bowl, this was one expensive medium sized bowl. It was good, with generous sticky rice balls that gave it a nice texture. However, some of the root vegetables were still crunchy, hence undercooked.
What came next was their version of mango sticky rice, which came with durian turon (durian paste in deep fried spring roll wrapper), a coconut sauce, and coconut ice cream. This was overwhelmingly underwhelming, as the tiny pieces of mango was not sweet at all and the coconut ice cream had ice crystals… it should have been creamy and smooth, instead it tasted and felt like it melted and was refrozen.
My friend’s Korean chicken burger was at least decent, however, it took quite a wait. It was probably the only food that didn’t have issues.
After our meal, it was a struggle to find anyone who paid attention to us. We kept signaling to them but we kept getting ignored. It took at least ten minutes for anyone to notice. They were, however, very chatty with other customers. I guess their staff has favorites and it was clear that we...
Read moreI’ve been dining at Oasis in Solaire for five years since my family and I frequently gamble here, but I’ve noticed a disappointing decline in service lately. The food remains excellent—especially the sisig—but it really should be served on a sizzling plate because it gets cold too fast. Everything I’ve tried has been top-notch, except for the tom yum, which was both bland and overwhelmingly spicy to the point of being inedible.
Service, however, has become painfully slow—not just during closing hours, but even in the middle of the day. The waiters always seem preoccupied, barely making eye contact, and I constantly have to wave multiple times just to get their attention. It feels like they’re avoiding customers rather than serving them.
To top it off, I waited 30 minutes for my change one night. When I finally approached the cashier, he practically threw the money at me without even looking up—no “thank you,” no acknowledgment, nothing. At a restaurant this expensive, that kind of service is unacceptable.
Oasis used to be one of my favorite spots in Solaire, but the lack of professionalism and slow service are making it hard to justify coming back. It was never like this...
