Blue Lamb - Branch of the Archaeological Museum in Gdańsk — Attraction in Gdansk

A small but really nice archaeological museum. There is a colouring corner and a sandpit for young children to explore. The museum has two levels with a lift, and the exhibitions are available in both Polish and English, which is great. You can leave your coat and there are lockers as well, but you need to insert 2 zł to lock them (refundable). Entry is not expensive and is free on Thursdays. Children aged 6–10 really enjoy it. The Blue Lamb is an archaeological museum located in the beautiful granary building. The interactive exhibitions show history of the Granary Island and its citizens everyday life. Superb museum. While fairly compact, covering 2 floors of a former granary warehouse, this gem of a museum offers a fascinating history of Gdansk's role as a trading port. As well as hosting many more standard exhibits, a reconstructed street from the middle-ages helps put everything in context.
