This fish restaurant in Sopot is an absolute gem that I make a point to visit every time I'm in town. Here's why it's become my go-to spot: Pros:

This fish restaurant is located in a busy street in Gdánsk, but the prices are quite decent. The restaurant was super busy during lunchtime, so there was a bit of a wait. However, we managed to arrive to restaurant at the perfect time to immediately secure a table.

The fish and chips had a nice batter, but they weren't really sticking to the fish as the fish was a bit wet. I chose catfish, which is a freshwater fish, so it was naturally a bit fishy. I didn't mind it though, I expected that. The fish was also a decent size. However, I think the fish needed to be seasoned just a bit more.

The fries were just okay, nothing special. They just tasted like your run of the mill frozen fries, but they were good nonetheless.

The meat pierogi (Polish dumplings) were quite packed, and they were seasoned nicely. They also had a considerably crisp outside or pierogi skin, which was a nice change from your usual boiled/wet pierogi.

Overall, this was a solid meal. A few things could be improved, but we still had a nice experience and I would come back to try their other menus.

The food we had was wonderful, HOWEVER!!!... if you want to be served by a surlry teenager, this is the place for you. We ate here twice because in all fairness the food is wonderful, on our first visit we excused the waitresses lack of any expression or attentiveness as a one off, I asked her if she was tired, she said yes as it had been busy over weekend(we were there Monday, pretty quiet)!! 🤔. So we decided to go again on the Thursday, because the food was amazing!!.. Got to our table, the waitress not only looked at us as if we'd dared to come in for food, but when asked for the bill looked at us as though we'd requested her to pay for it, as she was to busy talking to a colleague, and couldn't have possibly been disturbed by a paying customer!!... Only deciding to come over once we proceeded to put on our coats!!!.... All in all, wonderful food, but utterly...
