Dining at Riverside Dym i Ogień was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a warm, vibrant atmosphere that blends modern style with a cozy, inviting vibe – perfect for a relaxed evening by the river.

We were warmly welcomed and taken care of by Victoria, whose service was nothing short of outstanding. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive – she made us feel truly at home. We even had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who was as passionate as he was talented – a wonderful personal touch that made our visit even more memorable.

We started our meal with a selection of starters that completely blew us away:

The beef tartar was beautifully seasoned and fresh, a true delicacy.

The Japanese potato was a surprising and delicious twist – creamy, flavorful, and unique.

The chicken skewer was juicy and perfectly grilled, with a hint of smoky goodness that hinted at the “Dym i Ogień” (Smoke and Fire) theme.

For mains, we shared a variety of incredible dishes that showcased the kitchen's range and creativity:

The pork knuckle was fall-off-the-bone tender with a crisp skin and rich, deep flavor.

The BBQ pork ribs were finger-licking good – smoky, saucy, and cooked to perfection.

The curry shrimp soup was aromatic, creamy, and packed with bold flavors.

Even the Margherita pizza was top-notch – simple, authentic, and delicious with a perfect crust.

To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a lovely white wine and sampled several local beers, all of which paired beautifully with the food.

Every bite we had was fantastic, but what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service and the passion you can feel from everyone working there. Riverside Dym i Ogień isn’t just a meal – it’s an experience, and one we’ll be talking about for a long time.

Was surprised with this place, it is awesome! So warm service from waiters! The food tasty and beautiful; we had chicken supreme breast, Cesar salads, focaccia (it is big), squid tempura - everything was delicious and also cooked quite fast! Czech tap beer is amazing (had a mix of dark and light beer), so sorry that polish breweries are not able to produce such beer! They also serve the beer in a very great way - a beautiful and special glass, enough beer foam, the temperature is really cold enough (not just a bit of cold)! The waiters remove napkins from the floor when see that (e.g at roof top restaurant in Prague center waiters did not care about such things, and then were surprised why no tips). Recommendation to visit this restaurant! The only thing that could be improved is a hostess boy job - he just did not care at all, we wanted a table outdoor and he said no such a table, everything is booked, did not show any wish to try to find something, etc. but we saw two outdoor tables with leaving people and agreed with the waiters that we take one of them. Hostess is a frontier for visitors, so important they really care about customers. Anyway, everything else was so great so I put 5...

We (me and 3 other guys in our late 40's) have been to Riverside 2 days in a row. The first day we just had some drinks before heading to a nightclub. The day after we went back to have dinner because the food looked so nice. The food is lovely, from fish to squid and ribs, it was all very good. Than why give 4 stars and not 5? The desserts were just sub par, giving room for improvement. The drinks however (mainly the cocktails) were really good, so go and check those out. Beside the food, the service was really excellent, making it a place I would return to every time I visit Gdansk. Paulina was our waitress on day 2 and it was truly amazing to see her love for the work she does. Next to serving us our food, she was more than happy to answer any questions we had on Gdansk/Polish food/drinks/clubbing specialties. Thx for the great evening Paulina!

Oh.... and yes, although you might not expect the choice of music they were playing in a spot like this (would mostly do pretty well in a club), we really enjoyed the atmosphere.
