This basilica is in the Kazimierz district of Krakow (old Jewish Quarter) and is stunning example of the mixture of Baroque and Gothic architectural styles. Dating back to the 14th century, this church is beautiful inside. We really enjoyed touring this church and examining the intricate stone carvings, stunning stained-glass windows, and ornate furnishings that adorn the interior. Another fascinating aspect of this church is the magnificent high altar, which features a beautiful depiction of the Last Supper. Also, there are several chapels within, each with its own unique character and charm. We saw from the outside the tower, but we could not find anyone inside that could tell us if it was open to the public. Whether you are there to visit, reflect, pray or to have an inspiring cultural experience, this hidden gem is sure to leave a lasting impression. This will be my church during our month in Poland as our apartment is in Kasimierz. Thank you to the priest and...
