We were very disappointed with this establishment. The atmosphere was nothing like what the photos suggest. Right upon entering, we were asked if we had a reservation—even though the place was almost completely empty. When we said we didn’t have one, they seated us in a rather isolated and gloomy part of the venue.
We asked if we could sit in one of the domes (which was one of the main reasons we came), but were told that those were only for people with reservations. Again, I’ll repeat—the place was nearly empty. The menu was available only through a QR code, which might suit some people, but for us, it was quite unclear and hard to navigate.
We ordered a shisha, which wasn’t even listed on the menu. We asked for light tobacco with a fruity flavor and something menthol or icy. The guy brought us a hookah filled with milk and banana. These kinds of add-ons usually cost extra, and I believe that was the case here as well—but I never saw the prices for the shishas. It felt like a sneaky tactic aimed at tourists—bringing the most expensive option even though we didn’t order it. The quality of the shisha itself was mediocre at best. It definitely wasn’t worth 120 PLN.
As for the other prices, they were the same as, or even higher than, in the city center (Rynek Główny). And now for the biggest paradox: when we wanted to pay, the waitress told us to use the QR code on the table. Fine, we paid through the QR code—only to be told on the way out that we still had to pay the rest. We then learned that the QR code payment only covers shisha (which wasn’t on the menu) and drinks, while everything else must be paid for at the counter—even though those other items were listed in the QR system.
When I finally saw the total price, I was quite unpleasantly surprised and shocked. Kraków is full of amazing venues, and I definitely won’t be coming back to this one.
TLDR: Misleading photos, weird seating policy despite empty venue, unclear QR menu, overpriced shisha we didn’t order, shady billing system. Not...

Firstly, the venue itself is a treat. With options for seating on the ground floor, in the charming garden area, or even downstairs, it caters to various preferences. The loft-style interior design exudes a trendy and comfortable ambiance, while the outdoor garden area provides a delightful escape from the city bustle.
Now, let's talk about the food. Dragon Tail's contemporary European cuisine offers a delightful mix of flavors, though it's not Micheline star, so it's better to consult with the waiters. Their extensive selection of wines and liqueurs complements the dishes beautifully, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a city center good dining experience.
But what truly sets Dragon Tail apart is their shisha experience. The team of waiters and hookah masters are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly, speaking Polish, English, and some of them even Ukrainian. They're always ready to suggest the perfect pairing for your meal or guide you through their impressive selection of hookah flavors. The hookah team's professionalism is unparalleled, with signature mixes and a wide range of tobacco and flavors to choose from. Read morefood wasn’t tasty. I had Caesar’s salad with chicken, sauce was too sour, chicken could be barely seen there, because 95% of the salad were only salad leaves, not other ingredients, especially chicken my partner had cheeseburger - meat was without expressive taste, I would rate meat structure as average, it was better than McDonalds, but definitely not according to the restaurant’s standards. Fries are crispy, but very thin and tasteless. staff members were slow and dissatisfied. When asking for drinks they were really unhappy to hear that, and it was visible on their faces if something from the menu is not in stock, or can be served later (like in 1-2 hours) customers should be informed about this at the moment of receiving menu, not when they chose food and then waiter says “we cannot serve it right now” cherry on top, we asked staff to bring food for 8 people at the same time (burgers, salads etc) and for some reason waitress tried to assure us that it’s impossible to serve everything at the same time, and that some part of food still will be cold so we had to explain her in which order it should be cooked.
On the positive side, the interior and garden look really nice.
What can be improved: please provide proper trainings to your employees, because on my experience it was a disaster please don’t take 35pln for chicken salad with almost no chicken in it, it’s not fair to the customer choose other French fries, these are too thin...
