(Po Angielsku) My family and I visited Well Done on our trip to Kraków in July, 2018. Since we are Americans who love American food, and its proximity to where we were staying in Kazimierz, we gave it a try. We're glad we did. The food was good, and the service was good, too. Our waitress was polite and deserving of the 15% service we gave her (15% is customary in the US). I am giving Well Done five stars because I can't give 4.5 stars. In order to be a TRUE American restaurant, the floor staff should come out to fill the water glasses every few minutes, and there must be ice present. Here in the US, we have to request no ice (except for California, but they're mostly weird and socialist). Just a small cultural difference between the US and Poland. :) The PPB Hamburger elicited smiles and some laughs from my family, as we have no burgers that I am aware of that use peanut butter as a condiment. Peanut butter, by itself, is good and is a good source of protein. Perhaps in a different part of the US, but not the Northwest where I am from. I liked the American themed wall art, and, although I am not from Idaho (my wife was born there) seeing an Idaho "Mountain Bluebird" license plate also made me smile. Kraków is a beautiful city, and I would like to visit it again sometime. When I do, I will make sure to pay Well...
Read moreThe food is really good although waiting time is long. Makes sense since the rib meat literally falls from the bone. Great job! I would only suggest adding the third tortilla to the fajitas, the amount of food is too big in comparison to the tortilla capacity. Unfortunately the service and the interior is not on a high level, the waitress was not able to answer our questions about the product and she did not ask anyone for help. They also mixed our drink order with another table and when realised, they took away the drinks from that couple! Complete lack of respect! Additionally, there is dust everywhere, eg candle holders or pieces of interior design. Even the fake flowers in the restroom were not green but grey due to dust. Please clean up! Speaking of restroom, be careful with the small steps that you can't see when dark and you're looking for the light switch. I suggest using automatically turned on lights.
In general, the food is really good but I would suggest to...
Read moreGood food and plenty of it. We had the BBQ ribs and beef fajitas, both of which were very tasty and well prepared.
My only small gripes would be that the food could be presented with more thought for how to eat it.
The 3 small tortillas weren't enough for the generous amount of meat and vegetables and there was no spoon, meaning I was trying to hold it in one hand and load it with a small fork as the salsa, guacamole and sour cream pots were on the plate and the sour cream had spilled over it.
Also, the coriander was served in long strands, instead of being chopped. Possibly, that's because some people don't like it but again it's awkward to eat.
Finally, the waitress, who was very nice and otherwise excellent didn't think to mention that the iron dish was red hot and I burned myself slightly.
These are just minor niggles but would be so easily remedied and would make it a five-star experience, instead of four.
But it was definitely...
