A massive and absolutely beautiful beach in Albufeira! My husband and I stayed within a 5-minute walk to this beach for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. Easily accessible by free elevator or walkable stairs, we spent most afternoons soaking up the sun and cooling off in the ocean. A picturesque location with rocky cliffs on one end and sweeping vistas of the cliff-side buildings of Albufeira.

There is ample space to set up a beach blanket and never felt crowded with other visitors. The lifeguard staff is attentive to changing water conditions, as it got quite wavy during our visits. The water gets deep quite quickly, so having swimming experience is a plus here. The ocean was still a bit chilly during the first week of June, but was a refreshing cool-off from the heat and water temperature was easy to adapt to. Highly recommend visiting this beach!
