Art Center Caravel — Attraction in Funchal

Today, I had the absolute pleasure of having a guided visit around this amazing Art Gallery in Funchal, with Svetlana. Svetlana is a very lively and enthusiastic person. She first showed me the Old well in their premises, a well that probably supplied water to the population of the Old Town, centuries ago. Then, I had the pleasure of seeing the whole gallery, with it's amazing art work. Beautiful paintings by various artists, all very well identified and beautiful sculpture. Although my knowledge about Art is almost 0, I was mesmerised with the variety, with the presentation, with the smell of the paint! Svetlana is also preparing to open a coffee with healthy food, all decorated with amazing tast and beautiful colours. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They took us on a tour of the entire upstairs gallery and let us view all of the amazing works.
